The bread rose, and the flour arose in the air around me. It was me and the bakery. All alone.
It was closing time, but no one really would rush in at this moment, would they?
The milk spilled out a bit from the batter, small droplet to droplet. The cocoa filled the table with dark brown powder spills. The strawberries freshly light, and juicy.
It was almost done. I put my masterpiece in the oven. All I had to do was wait. I wiped my sweat with a towel.
" Hey, Jinnie! Are you almost done with your shift?^^"
I smiled at the text message. I loved everything about her. Her cute text messages, small nose, smile. The freckles.
I loved Shin Minseo
" No, Minnie. I have more work to do, get ready for a surprise though! Dress well." I responded.

Minseo: What's the surprise?
Me: Well, it wouldn't be a surprise, if I told you?
Minseo: Fine. ;(. See you at my apartment, then!
I smiled. Minseo was so oblivious.
It was our 1000 day anniversary. And I prepared something special.
" Hey, Jaehyo!" I said, into the phone.
" Oh, hey!"
" Are you almost done preparing?" I asked.
" Yea. I setted up the roses without her knowing. She's out with her friends."
" Oh, okay! Make sure she doesn't get home, until I get to her house first." I said.
" Got it." He said. " Bye!"
I wrapped the cake in a nice box. I smiled, carrying a cake to Minjoo's house. Specially prepared by me, working at a bakery was useful. Plus, it was fun. Decorating cakes, and making special flavors. That was exciting for me.
And my inspiration came from my one and only.
I typed in the password to Minseo's house.
" 1,2,6,1,1" I muttered, pressing the buttons. And even that number and significance.
January 16, 2011.
That's when I first met her.
I opened the door.
The lights were dimmed and the roses were showing.
I prepared myself.
I walked towards to her room, Jaehyo brought her to. Rose in hand, and the emotions were coming out. A genuine smile was on my face.

I stopped in front of her room. It was wide open. A vivid sight showed up in front of me.
Jaehyo was kissing Minseo. And Minseo seemed to be enjoying it as well.
My heart suddenly shattered, and it screamed inside. A tears of glass fell from my eye. Those shattered pieces of glass, were suddenly ready to harm and stab.
" Jaehyo, you, you bastard!" I yelled, tears waterfalling down my face. I aimed straight for his face. No time to even think.
Blood squirted everywhere.
" J-jin. I never knew it would be like this, huh?" Jaehyo said. Another one got aimed straight towards my head. Right towards the temple.
I wasn't that stupid to think I could just get hit in the temple and recover quick. If he hitted me in the temple, I would probably knock out, and lose the memory of Minseo and Jaehyo cheating on me. Which I wish I didn't want to remember, but had to.
I punched right back at him.
" Seokjin! Stop! You're hurting him!" Minseo said, standing in front of me.
" So, you're telling me you're not caring about me getting hit, but this cheater?! Not your own boyfriend?!" I yelled.
" Jin, I don't even think you're even considered my boyfriend anymore! You barely have any time for me anymore, and the last time I saw you was a month ago! Do you think that's what a boyfriend does?!" Minseo yelled. " I wish I could have a boyfriend who could do better. Even if he's busy, a text message is okay. I wished that he could look better. I wish he wasn't a total jerk to me!"
My heart crushed.
" I've done all of this for you! I wanted to surprise you today! You didn't even tell me ' oh happy 1000 day anniversary!'. I was preparing all of that for you, YOU ONLY! And this is what you reward me with?!" I yelled back. " Unbelievable! You even cheated on me with my bestfriend!"
" Don't think I'm done with you, Park Jaehyo! Or either of you." I said, crying with tears in my eyes.
" Good bye." I said, exiting the apartment building.
Tears escaped like there was no tomorrow. I ran towards the park.
How could've Jaehyo done something like that? One favor, turns into a break-up.
One little mistake, turns into a nightmare.
I cried.
12 am turned into 2 am.
2 am turned into 4 am.
The tears wouldn't stop.
A tap fell on my shoulder.
Turning around, a note got chucked at me.
" look at the moon. isn't it bright?"
What type of shit was this in the middle of the night?
" What type of shit are you brewing, reveal yourself right no-"
Another got whipped at me.
" look at the stars, and make a wish"
I scoffed. " what type of bullshit is that?" I said, sniffling. I threw it onto the ground.
" seriously make a wish."
"Listen, that's shit. I don't want to make a wish, I don't even have anything to wish for!" I said, mad.
I looked around. No one. No one was throwing notes, or staring. No one was even up.
" don't lie. we all have wishes."
I looked at this note. " Well, I don't."
" i hate people who lie, and that's exactly what your doing. Lying. I feel betrayed."
I suddenly felt bad for this person. The feeling I hate, and the feeling I hate other people feeling.
Betray.
"oh, well i'm sorry." I said, sincere.
" if you're that sincere and sorry, do me a favor."
" wish towards the stars."
I sighed.
" Dear god, or whomever. If you hear this, help me.
Please let Jaehyo learn his lesson. I don't even want to talk to him anymore.
Let me get over Minseo.
But, make me a better man for Minseo. Her ideal type."
