The same night that the Hollow had took advantage of the fact that Hope had gone into Rae's mind to try and fish her out to save her from possession, leading the Hollow to possess both of them and leave the compound, Hayley and I had spent all this time looking for them while the Mikaelsons, Vincent and Marcel were looking for ways to save them.

Hayley and I found Hope and Rae, both taken over by the Hollow, wreaking havoc in the streets by creating winds and causing explosions of light and fire, running toward them.

"Hope!" Hayley told her. "Rae!"

"I know you can hear me," I told them. "Rae, I need you to fight her. Hope, please fight her."

Hope/The Hollow laughed in amusement. "You think you can stop me?"

"We're not gonna let you take them," Hayley told her.

Hope and Rae/The Hollow raised their hands, using magic to levitate Hayley and me from the ground, dangling us several yards above the street, snapping our necks, letting us fall unconscious to the ground.

Hayley and I woke up in Vincent's apartment, sitting up, groaning in pain, seeing that Vincent was starting a spell nearby.

Vincent turned to face us. "You're okay. You're all right. Some witches, um, they found you on the street. They called me, and I brought you here."

"Ah, we got to get that thing out of Hope and Rae," I told them, standing.

"That's what I'm trying to do, Kaylin," Vincent told me. "Storing up my power for the ritual."

"What ritual?" Hayley asked.

"The ritual that we need to talk about," Vincent answered.

Hayley and I looked at Vincent in confusion.

Hayley and I were still talking to Vincent about their plan that he told us about.

He told us that the Mikaelsons would each take a quartet of the Hollow into themselves to take it out of Hope and Rae and save them, but it meant that the siblings had to split up and separate ways forever so that the Hollow would stay weak and separated for all eternity.

"All four of them have to go their separate ways forever?" Hayley asked.

"Yeah," Vincent answered. "And I didn't tell them this. When we leave here, you need to go home, you need to pack some bags, you need to find a way out of town quick and quiet, just for you two, Hope and Rae."

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

"The Hollow has felt your little girls' power, and it's gonna want to get that power back," Vincent told us. "And when we finish this ritual, the Hollow is gonna live inside the Mikaelsons. Through them, it's gonna reach out, and it's gonna try to regain access to your little girls. That can never happen. At any time they are anywhere near them, they are not going to be safe, ever. Now, we all know that Klaus Mikaelson, he's not gonna be okay with that. So, when we finish this ritual, when we get your little girls back, you have got to go. You take them, and you run like hell."

Hayley seemed to be okay with this part of the plan, though I was upset because I didn't want to lose Klaus again, but I also wanted to do anything to save Rae.

I just didn't want the Mikaelsons to suffer for saving us from an enemy that came from Hayley and Hope's bloodline, though none of this was any of our faults.
