It was late at night and you were cuddling on the couch with your husband, Ethan.

You had put your 3 years old son to bed earlier that night and now you were watching a movie together.

You guys were talking about random things when you heard tiny footsteps coming down the stairs.

Your son walked into the living room, holding his teddy bear. You sat up when you noticed tears running down his cheeks.

You stood up and walked over to him.
You knelt down in front of him and asked:

"Honey, what's wrong? Did you have a bad dream?"

He shook his head no and hid behind his teddy bear.

"Come on, buddy. Tell mommy what's wrong. No need to be embarrassed", Ethan said, also standing up.

"I wet the bed", he said with more tears in his eyes. He looked down embarrassed by his accident.

"It's okay, baby. Come with mommy and we'll get you changed while daddy fixes your bed. And if you want to, you can sleep with mommy and daddy tonight, how does that sound, sweetie?"

You tried to comfort him and wiped his tears off with your hand.

"Okay, mommy. But when we go to bed, can i sleep in the middle and can we all cuddle?"
he asked looking at you both with his puppy dog eyes.

"Of course, little man", Ethan said chuckling at his little cuddle addict.

You took his hand and led him upstairs to the bathroom. You gave him a quick bath and wrapped him in a large towel.

You carried him into his room, where Ethan was almost done cleaning his bed.

You walked over to your son's closet and took out clean boxers and pajamas for him.

When your son had new pajamas on, you walked into your bedroom.

You all got under the sheets with your son in the middle.

You pulled him closer and Ethan wrapped his arm around you both.

"I love you mommy and daddy."

"We love you too", you and Ethan said at the same time.

"Goodnight and sweet dreams, boys", you said as you closed your eyes.
