Daron woke up in a cell beneath the castle strapped to the walls of the castle. It was morning already and he woke up tied in chains. He tried to pull but the chains were strong. He tried to use his magic but he could not, werewolf venom was in his blood and because of that he could not cast magic spells and his body felt weak.

He cursed in his own language and laid still. He was not wearing any clothes but a pair of brown trousers and so he felt cold, his bare feet touched ice cold water. He began to feel weak as the werewolf venom was affecting his body.

"I must get the three out of here," he thought. "I do not care for my life, but they do not deserve this."

Suddenly he heard slow footsteps, too uniform for a zombie. Suddenly Lord Aramastus came before him. The vampire lord was evil and ugly with a bald head and extremely long ears and large teeth and claws. He laughed like an evil villain.

"Thou abomination!" Daron leaped at him but by the chains he was held back.

"Good morrow Prince Daron, I desire thou art enjoying thy stay hither." He said sarcastically.

"Thy enmity is with me," said Daron "Leave the children be and square me in fair combat. I shalt showeth thee true power, and thy pain shalt know no end. Hurl all thy servants at me and I shalt best them all, and in the end cometh for thee and slay thee with mine hands."

"Heigh-ho! gentle, my lord," said Aramastus. "I shalt not square thee, for I know that thou art stronger than me and mine servants, and that is wherefore we need thy art. My master needs thy strength and might."

"What?" Daron asked as he raised his head.

"Thy powers are known far and wide, I am familiar to the powers of the draconimus, and I know that thou are stronger than me and mine servants. I was there 5,000 years ago when the draconimus were at their full power. I remember of how thy ancestors laid to ruin all enemies by the use of fire and blood. Thou art of the same blood, and thy power is well requested by my master. Join him and thou canst call these folk thine. Thou shalt have a castle, a castle larger than this one, thou shalt have an army mightier than mine, thou shalt have power, UNLIMITED POWER! Join me, my lord Daron, and thou shalt be as mighty as I am."

"Join thy master? The Dark Lord?" Daron asked.

"Yes."

"As convincing as thou art," said Daron. "Thy words are poison and any man of wisdom shalt not heed to them. Thy words fall on deaf ears, Aramastus, minion of The Dark Lord, Lord of Carrion, I shalt never join thy master."

"Hmm..." said Aramastus. "Pity. I was thinking that thou art wise enough. Nevertheless, I shalt offer thee an extension of thy time to rethink the offer. I shalt give thee one month, and after that the werewolf shall come again. If thou chooseth to serve my master, the werewolf shall bow before thee and take thee as thy master. If not, then the werewolf shalt tear thee apart and gnaw on thy bones. On the night of the full moon shalt all of that occur, and you have till then to rethink thy offer."

And so Aramastus left him, his zombie minions however freed him from the chains and gave him proper food. He was given a royal bed to sleep and good food to eat, but he had only one month to think of what to do.
