~Kyouko's POV~

I was stuck in a dream. A dream of never-ending nightmares. Shadows kept towering over me, dark whispers surrounded me as monsters that have never been imagined before gather around me. I felt hopeless. Everything from my body has been drained out. I felt the pain surging through my muscles everytime I would try to defend myself against the things surrounding me. I thought it couldn't get any worse until I saw her. Standing on a pathway cleared by the monsters.

It was me. But yet it wasn't. She was the version of me I was afraid of. The person who stood in front of me towered over me as I laid on the floor unable to move. She had blood red eyes lusting for blood, violence, and power. Canine fangs longer than normal hybrids and almost monster-like. The same aura as mine but let out a cold shiver down your spine. Her clothes were like mine but everything was black and had blood splatters.

The growl in her throat was deep and almost sound demon like. I wanted to get up and fight back or even just run. But my body refused to move, frozen from fear. She points at me and says, "Everything you love, will be taken away." And with that darkness took over me and I woke up.

I shot up from my sleep panting and sweating. I rest my head in the palm of my hands while trying to calm down. I looked around to see it was morning already. I heard soft voices from outside and someone cooking on the stove. I sighed and fell back on the bed. I've been having these nightmares more and more. Ever since the day Makoto had told me the truth. I haven't told the girls about her yet, they probably forgot by now.

I have to confront Haruhiko. If not now, then sooner or later. I got up then got dressed. I went to the kitchen to be greeted by the three girls. Mai and Reina have been coming over more but I didn't mind the company. I sat down next to Reina and laid my head on the table. "Is something wrong Kyouko?" She asked. Mai and Koito, who were cooking, turned around to look at me. I nodded and closed my eyes again. I felt Reina stroke my hair in a comforting way, making my stress melt away.

After eating breakfast, I told the girls I had to go somewhere. I went over to Makoto's place again and told her about my nightmares. "This isn't good. A dream or nightmare can't reacquire almost every night. Maybe it's a sign." She said. I sighed and shrugged. "It could be," I said.

"Kyouko. When are we going to talk to your brother about this?" Makoto said. I looked at her and looked back down. "I don't know," I replied. "We need to talk to him before it's too late." She said and got up. "We're going now," She said and grabbed me. She dragged me to her car and told me to get in. "But what if they're not home?" I asked. "Then we'll try again later," She said and got in the car. I gave in and got into the car as well. We drove to Haruhiko's place where his mother and father are now sharing.

Once we arrived, Makoto knocked on the door. A woman who looked like Haruhiko answered. "Hello there. How can I help you, ladies?" She said. "Is Haruhiko here?" Makoto asked. She nodded and let us both in. She doesn't remember me. But that didn't bother me that much surprisingly. The woman called down Haruhiko from upstairs and minutes later he arrived. He saw the both of us and went silent.

"Can we talk with your family please?" Makoto asked the woman. She nodded and called her husband over along with Haruhiko. "What do you need?" The man asked. Makoto looked at me and nodded. "You have to take it from here. They're not my people Kyouko." Makoto said and left me with them.

"Kyouko? Oh dear, is that really you? What happened? Where have you been?" My mother said with a gasp and pulled me into a hug. I pulled away without an answer and looked at them. "Is it true?" I asked. "Dear, what are you talking about?" My mom asked. "I'm not really your daughter," I said.

The three of them stared at me blankly. I looked at Haruhiko who had an unreadable expression on his face. "How did you find out?" My father said. "That's not the question. Is it true?" I asked again. My mother sighed and nodded. "Yes, it's true. We didn't want to tell you because we thought it would hurt you." She said.

"Do you know then?" I looked at Haruhiko. "Yea I knew. But they didn't tell me about it. I knew from looking at that girl you were with. The first time I saw her, I knew she was related to you." He said coldly. I growled at him and snapped back, "What's with the cold voice? What did she ever do to you?"

"Nothing. You did. After all these years, I find out my own sister isn't even my blood sister but some disgusting hybrid." he spat. "What the hell is that suppose to mean?!" I snarled. "I thought it was some side effect that you had and I thought I could help you get rid of it but now that I know it's something you're born with. It's disgraceful." He said with disgust.

I looked at my mother and father for defense. But they only looked down guiltily and stayed quiet. "You two aren't the only ones that know everything. I know you're part phantom and I want you to stay away from my girls." He growled. "Your girls?! When were they ever yours?!" I fought back. "They are now! They were never yours either! Now get out of my fucking house!" He growled.

"Fine, I will. It's nice to know after all those fucking years, you think of me as someone disgusting." I snapped. "What years? All those years you left me?" He sneered. I glared at him hard and left. I slammed his front door and saw Makoto standing outside. She looked upset and had her arms out for me. I went over to her and let her pull me into a hug. "I'll be here for you okay sis? I'll take care of you from now on if you let me." She whispered. I smiled and nodded. "Thank you Makoto," I whispered back.

We got back in the car and left. I watched at Haruhiko's house slowly disappeared into the distance. I wasn't going to let him take away the girls. Not them. They're too important to me. I'll do whatever it takes to keep them with me by my side.
