Date Night -- P4

Kelly's POV

I'm so nervous for tonight! I'm not experienced when it comes to dates and shit so I face timed my bestie, Chloe, so she can help me with my outfit. I finally decide on an outfit that is formal, but still on my type of "Rebellious" side.

I'm putting my last lip ring on when I hear a knock at the door. "Hang on!" I yell. I walk downstairs. Luckily, I live with my brother, and he's almost never home. Including tonight. He wouldn't like me going on a date.

I open the door and I see Ashton holding a black rose. Um, okay?

"Hey. I got you this. I bought the black one cos I know it's like your favorite color" he pecks me on the cheek. I blush. "Thanks, Ash. But next time, even though it's my favorite color, get a bright one." I say. He smirks. "Not even into the first date yet and your already talking about future dates, eh?" He asks. I look down. He chuckles. "It's okay. Saves me from having to ask you and go through the shyness" he says. He puts his arm around my waist and open the car door for me. "Thanks" I say. He nods. "You look nice, by the way. I'm surprised you wore a dress" he chuckles. "Thanks. You don't look too bad yourself" I say. He smiles and starts driving.

-at the restaurant-

I take another bite of pasta. "So you live by yourself in a small apartment?" I ask. "Yep. Mum was sad when I asked her if I could move out but I still see her and my siblings everyday" he smiles. I nod. "And you live with your brother who's rarely home?" He asks. I blush and nod. "What's his name? Calum Hood?" He asks. I nod. "We're actually step siblings. Different dads, hence the different last names" I say. He nods. "He's in our band, actually. He's real quiet though. Bass guitar. Never really sings. If he does it's with all of us at the same time so you barely hear him" he says. "Wow. Never knew he was in a band" I say.

We finish our food and Ashton pays. I offer to pay at least part of the bill but he insists that I don't. We laugh and talk a lot throughout the ride back to my place. When we pull into the driveway I see Calum standing on the porch. I stop laughing. Ashton notices Calum standing there. "Shit" I mutter. Calum sees us pull in and starts walking towards us. "I would love to kiss you goodnight, but he'd probably kill me" Ashton says. I smile. "Imagine it?" I ask. Ashton smirks and nods. I step out of the car. Calum is glaring at us. "Don't even think about pulling out of the driveway" he yells. Ashton sighs and puts the car back in park. Calum storms towards me. "Where the hell were you?!" He asks. "I was on a d-date with Ashton" I stutter. Ashton stops the car and gets out. Calum narrows his eyes at Ash. Calum pulls me towards the house. I look back at Ash. "Goodnight!" I yell. He smiles. "Same to you!" He replies. Ash gets back in his car and leaves. Calum pushes me into the house. "What the fuck, Kelly? I've been calling you for 30 minutes. I was worried sick!" He yells. "I had my phone on silent." I say. "Why can't you leave me a note to say your leaving?! Or text or call?" He screams. That's when I lose it.

"Maybe cause your never home! And if I do text or call, you never fucking answer!" I yell at him. It goes silent. "I'm sorry. I should be a better brother. Even if we're not related by blood, we're still family. I'm so sorry. I'll be home more and I'll answer your calls. And I'll tell you where I'm going if I'm leaving." He says. He walks up and hugs me. I hug him back. He pulls away. "So how was it?" He asks. I shrug. "Nice. Normal. I think I'm really starting to like him" I say. He smiles. "Good. But if he hurts you-" he starts to say. I roll my eyes. "I know, I know. You'll kill him" I say. He nods. He hugs me again. When he pulls away I walk into the bathroom to wipe my makeup off. "Hey Kelly?" He asks, following me. "Yeah?" I say. "When were you able to get two lip piercings?" He asks. I blush. "My friends mom does piercings and pierced my lip at a sleepover with my friend." I say. He nods. "Looks cool" he says before walking off.

I take a shower and clean my face. I put some pajama shorts and a t shirt on. Calum knocks on my door. "Come in" I say. He walks in. "Hey can I drive you to school from now on? I thought since we are brother and sister, I might as well" he asks. "Yeah of course" I say. He nods. "Cool. Night. See you in the morning" he says. I say the same and he leaves. I set my alarm and get in bed. I'm out as soon as my head hits the pillow.
