LILIANA'S POINT OF VIEW:

I was woken up by someone shaking me. I groaned and turned to try to get away from this person's grip. I didn't work, so I sighed, then sat up, opening my eyes. I saw that Clint was the one who had been shaking me, so I growled at him, so Steve put an arm around my shoulders, restricting me from getting up.

"Nat, I don't think that Liliana is a morning person!" Clint yelled as I tried to get out of Steve's grip and attack Clint.

"Wait, Liliana, please don't attack Clint." Natasha said, coming around the corner.

'I won't attack him if I am let go!' I signed, still trying to get away from Steve.

"Steve, let her go. She won't do anything. Besides, she is 13, Clint is much older." She told Steve.

'Should I be taking offence to that?' I signed, jokingly, making Natasha smile. Steve let go of me, and I immediately stood up.

"Where are you going?" Steve asked.

'I'm going to go hide from humanity until morning is over.' I signed, walking to where my bag was. I grabbed it, and ran into the nearest room, which happened to be a bedroom, then laid down on my stomach underneath the bed. I pulled out my small CD player, then put on the newest NKOTB CD, and listened to the entire thing many, many times. I felt my earbuds being taking out of my ears.

"Liliana, I called you too many times! Breakfast is ready!" Natasha told me.

'I don't usually eat breakfast.' I signed to her.

"Well, you do now." She said, pulling me onto my feet and dragging me to the kitchen.

"Do you want to take off your jacket? It seems like it would be hot because it is the middle of summer." Steve asked. I shook my head frantically. The woman at the orphanage would beat us, so I had scars, bruises, and even fresh cuts on my arms from her torture. Also, HYDRA would beat me, too, and I have plenty of marks to prove it.

"Why?" Clint asked. I shook my head. They looked at each other before Natasha stood up from her chair. I thought that she was going to hit me or something for disobeying, so I leaned back into my chair, wishing to be invisible. Instead of hitting me, she sat on her knees next to my chair.

"What happened?" Nat questioned, completely serious.

'I don't want to start crying, so I can't show you right now.' I signed to them.

"Alright, Liliana. Whenever you feel ready to tell me, I will be ready to listen." Steve told me.

'You can understand?' I signed to him, which made him smile.

"Nat woke me up really early this morning and taught me, and I guess that I just caught on really quickly." He informed me. I stood up and walked over to him. He looked confused until I hugged him. He hugged back after a few seconds.

'I'm really glad and thankful that you adopted me. Thank you Steve.' I signed, which caused a few stray tears to stream down his face.

'It was the best decision I have ever made.' He signed, hugging me tighter than before.

"I'm lost." Clint admitted.

"I thought that you knew sign language?" Natasha asked/told Clint.

"I do, but I wasn't looking at them, I was eating my food, so...." Clint trailed off.

"Lily, we have people to meet today, okay?" Steve asked me.

'What did you call me?' I signed.

"I'm sorry, do you care if I call you Lily?" Steve questioned, nervously.

'I would love it' I signed, making everyone in the room smile.

"Lily, are you done eating?" Natasha asked.

'Yes, I'm not hungry, but thank you." I signed to her, and she nodded.

"Mine!" Clint yelled, grabbing my plate. I looked to Nat.

'Boys!' I signed to her, and everyone in the room started to laugh hysterically.

"Come, Lily. Let's get you ready to go." Nat said, holding out her hand. I took it and we walked over to where my bag was neatly placed in the bedroom from before. I pulled out a change of clothes and walked into the bathroom. http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=223888788

When I was finished in the bathroom, I walked out to see that everyone had been waiting for me in the living room.

'I forgot to ask, but where are we going?' I signed to Nat.

"You'll see when we get there. I think that you might like it." She informed me. I shrugged and grabbed my CD player and a NKOTB album before following everyone out the door and shutting it behind me.

We got into the car with me in the back behind the passenger seat, Clint in the back behind the drivers seat, Nat in the passenger seat, and Steve driving. After a few minutes of really bad music on the radio, Small Bump by Ed Sheeran came on and Steve started singing to it softly. Within seconds, I was listening to everyone in the car sing Small Bump. Tears fell from my eyes as I listened because even though I can't relate to the song itself, the meanings behind his songs are so beautiful and just amazing.
