NATASHA'S POINT OF VIEW:

As we drove to the tower, I peaked behind me to see Clint and Lily leaning towards each other, both pairs of eyes staring at his phone. I turned around to look at the road ahead of us when I heard a giggle that I wouldn't have heard if this car wasn't so small and pact. Since we were at a stop sign in a street that wasn't very busy, Steve and I both turned and stared at Lily with wide eyes. After a few seconds of staring at he, she looked up from the phone and looked at us with a questioning glance.

"What's wrong, Nat? Steve, you good?" Clint asked, looking for a threat from his small corner of the car.

"Are you joking? You had to have heard that!" I exclaimed. Steve was still staring into space, occasionally blinking his eyes a few times, then focusing on the same spot. He was also as aple as a ghost. When a car honked behind us, Steve snapped out of his trance with a few rapid blinks and a shake of his head, then started to drive.

"Hey, Steve, you are obviously shaken up. Pull over so we can switch spots." I reasoned with a soft voice.

"Shotgun!" Called a voice from behind Steve.

"No, Clint, you can't have shotgun." I told Clint as if he was seven years old. I mean, if he doesn't want to be treated like a seven-year-old, he should start acting his age.

"I can drive, it's okay." Steve whispered, "We are about to be there anyway."I looked at him with a questioning look, similar to Lily's earlier, but he kept his eyes on the road. When I looked forward, I noticed that we were about to go over a speed bump at full speed, Steve didn't notice it. I looked back at Lily to see that she was solemnly staring out her window. I grabbed arm and shook it, but she didn't even look towards me. Before I knew it, the car bounced up several feet. I looked over to Steve and saw that he had lost control of the steering wheel. Finally, right before we ran into anything severe, Steve managed to stop the car. All of the glass of the windows broke and I felt a slight burning sensation on my cheek, close to my eye. I jumped out of the car, as did Steve, and opened the car door to the back. Clint was holding Lily to his chest, trying to calm her loud sobs and heartbreaking screams. In the moment, none of us noticed the fact that she was being loud, only the fact that she was scared, possibly hurt. People started to crowd around the car.

"Steve, call Tony!" Clint yelled, "Have him pick us up!"

Steve nodded and stepped away from the car before pulling his Samsung phone from his back pocket dialing Tony's phone number. At this point, Lily was being silent, so I naturally assumed that she was unconscious.

"How badly hurt is she?" I asked Clint in a serious tone.

"It could be worse." He replied, glancing up at me for a split second, then back at Lily. I touched her arm lightly and she moved, making me jump. She looked up at me with teary eyes.

'Where's Steve?' She signed shakily.

"Steve is calling Tony so he can pick us up." I told her. She nodded. A lady who looked like she was in her mid thirty's walked skittishly towards us.

"Hi, my name is Ashlee, I was wondering if you needed help. I am a nurse at a nearby hospital, and I have a first aid kit." She informed me.

"I don't mean to be rude, but I think that my girl will need more than just a first aid kit." I told Ashlee. I didn't mean to have a bit of an attitude, but I was really worried about Lily.

"Well, at least let me clean up your cheek, the glass from the window must have cut you a little." She pointed out. I reached up and touched where my cheek had been burning earlier. When I pulled my finger away a second later, blood was on it.

"Oh. Ummm, thanks." I said awkwardly as she began to clean it with a wipe. She put a band-aid on it, then asked if there was anyone else with a small injury. I looked over to my left to see Steve sitting on the curb with his head in his hands.

"I think that we will be fine. Thank you for your help." I said, shaking her hand. As Ashlee walked away, I jogged over to where Steve was sitting and sat next to him.

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked him in my softest voice.

"No, it is my fault that Lily is in pain. It is my fault that Tony needs to pick us up. This whole situation is my fault!" He said, raising his voice slightly, then lowering it back down to a mumble. "Sorry."

"Don't apologize. You have every right to be angry and upset right now." I told him. He slightly nodded his head.

"Ya know, your daughter has been asking for you." I informed him with a smile. "Go, be there for her." I nudged him with my elbow lightly and raised my eyebrows. He smiled and stood up, walking to the car. A few second went on before Steve was in the car and Clint was seated next to me.

5 minutes later, Tony's car pulled up to the scene and stepped out of the car. He walked to us and just started talking.

"Where is Capsicle and Liliana? Weren't they coming, too?" He asked with a confused face.

"Yeah, they are in the car having a moment." Clint informed him. He started to inch towards the car.

"If you ruin this moment, I'll ruin your face." I told him, narrowing my eyes. A few seconds after that, Steve came out of the car. He was carrying a sleeping Lily in his arms, humming a sweet, slow song.

"Steve, what song is that?" Clint asked as I helped Steve buckle Lily into the car.

"I heard it once when I was listening to a random playlist on Pandora. It's called Dear Theodosia." Steve answered.

With that, everyone got into Tony's large car, and it was finally time to go to the Avengers Tower.
