Naomi's POV

Shocked all jaws dropped. When Principal Carter said "As reported Thursday Morning the police have found Jaden Mitchell dead at the bank of Tulip river ". I tensed as flashbacks go through my head when Jaden used to try and get my number or plan a date between us. Anthony saw me tense and wrapped his arms around my waist and whispered in my ear "Don't worry princess, no one is going to lay a finger on your beautiful skin if me and Ash have anything to say 'bout it".

A smile crept onto my face as I adjust my self back to face Principal Carter. As I move Anthony's hips stiffen and he adjusts me once again. I sigh as I feel something hard press against my ass.

Principal Carter says the seven words that keep replaying in my head "Stay safe in and outside of school". Inside!?! Why would I need protection in a public area.

I start to feel dizzy, and began to lose my vision. I had to get out of there. I sigh saying "I'll be back I need to use the bathroom" . Anthony let's go of my waist as I get up and walk into the girls locker room. I fall straight on the floor trying to get back my vision. But all I see is blurred vision.

I get startled by a hand being placed on my shoulder. I jump out of fright. But I recognized the small frail hand. I turn around tear stained and embraced Riley into a long hug.

Besides my mom, Riley is the only other person who knows I don't want to worry people. It started happening after my dad left. I've been having them ever since.

After me cleaning myself up and fixing myself we walked back out to the field to find the bleachers completely empty. " I guess we couldn't finish the assembly" Riley said trying to lighten the mood.

We walked back into the school and hallways were clear. So we knew we were late. I say my goodbye to Riley and head to my locker to get my stuff.

I ran knowing I was late for Ms. Kelly's class and she was a total bitch. Once I made it in the classroom everyone's eyes stared into my soul.

"And why are you late Ms. West?" She said with a snarky attitude never looking up from the papers on her desk.

"Although it is none of your business, I was at the assembly." I stated harshly. She looked up and stared at me sternly saying "Ms. West you do know that the assembly ended 15 minutes ago, and I gave you a chance to tell the truth, but you lie so detention with Mr. Grove at the end of the day ,discussion over please take your seat Ms.West."

I stormed to my seat slouching in my chair as I fell into deep thought. I can't go to detention, what is my mom going to do. I shouldn't even argue before I get benched for two games again.
