~Chapter 5~

Naomi's POV
I stay stunned walking in on what I never thought I would see in a million years...
My eyes filled to the brim with tears ready to fall. All that was running through my mind was why would she do this? I drop my things to my mom towering over helpless Renee who is bleeding. All I could see was Kevin's body flash through my eyes.

Adrenaline rushing through my blood I carry Renee to nearest place I could think of, Ash and Anthony. I repeatedly rung the doorbell awaiting for someone to answer the door. I continuously bang on the door with my head lowered until my knocking abruptly stopped.

I look up to a very concerned Ms. Thompson. All I do is show her the limp little girl in my hands. Her eyes widened at the view of Renee. She rushed back in the house to to find her car keys . When she came back out she looked at me and we both rushed to the car.

She was starring at my tear stained face. I knew she wanted to ask questions she was just scared to. I broke the silence by saying "My Mother". She held her peace trying to find the right words to say.

"Sweetheart are you alright?" She questioned. "I just need to get me and Renee out of there" I said blankly.

We finally pulled up to the hospital. I jumped out of the white Bentley and rushed to one of the nurses to help my sister. She quickly got a hold of the doctor and I placed Renee on the cart as they rolled her away.

At this time it was 10:48 and I haven't gotten any rest since we got here. "Darling you should go and take a nap we are going to be here for a while", Ms. Thompson said. "No I need to be here when she wakes up" I said being assertive. "You will and I'll be here to wake you up" she said. "Ok , but only for thirty minutes" I said. "That's fine all I know is that you need some shut eye", and with those words I slowly drifted off.
*Two hours later*

"Hey beautiful, it's time to wake up." I hear a familiar voice ring in my ears. "Is she up?!?" I asked hopping out of the seat. "Yes sweetie, but the officers have a few questions for you to answer." Ash said. "Um.. ok..." I said nervously walking to the police officers.

"Hi Ms. West, we are here to ask you a few questions about what happened to your sister." They stated briefly. "Yea. sure..." I said shuffling. "How did your sister get into a situation like this?" I knew I hated my mothers guts but I wasn't no snitch bitch. "Well, when I was coming home from school she was outside in this condition and she was faint so she couldn't tell me what happened. I stated trying not to sound like I was lying.

After a few more brief questions I was able to see my sister. She was sitting up talking to the nurse laughing and giggling which put a bright smile on my face. "Hey, um can I talk to her for a second?" I asked. "Yea sure Renee here was just cracking me up" she said still chuckling. She walked out of the room leaving me and Renee alone.

"Hey nee, how are you feeling?" I asked calmly. "Eh, I'm fine I really just wish I had some ice cream." I weakly smiled as she wasn't really phased by what happened. "But you know we can't go home right." I said. "Yea, I figured" she smiled sheepishly. "So where are we gonna go?" She questioned. "I really don't know right now nee, my plan was to move out at 18 but I see what she's doing to you and I can't have you bare that." She got up and hugged me tightly. The room fell silent. All that was heard was the monitor beeping.

A few seconds later the doctor entered the room and said that nee was alright to go home. She quickly changed into what Ms. Thompson bought her while I was out like a light. I grabbed her hand and headed out of the hospital room. We were greeted with Ms.Thompson and the twins. I went back up to the front desk looking for all the paper work."Don't worry I already finished the applications" Ms.Thompson said while I looked around frantically. I stepped back in awe and thanked her.
