~Chapter Numero Uno~

Naomi's POV

School has been hell lately. So many fights and drama I'm getting sick of this shit. I live with my mom but not for long. My plan is to leave when I turn 18. I don't know where I'm going to go I just know that I need to be out of this hell hole asap.

My dad left me when I was 8. I have a little sister named Renee, but she doesn't really talk much after dad left. We both hate our mother with a deep passion.

After our dad left us our mom has become an alcoholic. She is an aggressive drinker. Recently she's been beating Renee way worse then usual. I try to fight her off but I end up with bruises as well.

Renee is my world and when I turn 18 I can finally be her legal guardian so she doesn't have to go through that anymore. Renee and I have lied many times about our bruises so we don't get put in foster care.

My friends are the only ones who know about my personal life. I have a small circle. In other words nobody comes in or out. I have serious trust issues with people. My friends consist of Riley, Ash,Anthony, and Teresa.

I've known Riley the longest, her and I have been the closest since first grade. I was crying in the back of the playground.She gave me one of her lollipops and she started making fun of the teachers.

Ash and Anthony have been my bestfriends ever since they beat up the boy who kept picking on me and calling me names. They always had a crush on me but I always ignored it.

Teresa and I just became friends this year when we started talking after cheer practice. She was super nice and we practiced together basically everyday and we bonded and formed a terrific friendship.

We are all supposed to meet at the field after fourth period for another assembly, third this week. My forth period class was gym so I was exhausted. Anthony was carrying me out of pity. We saw Ash,Riley, and Teresa sitting together waiting for the announcement. We started to walk over while Principal Carter gave the speech that made everyone shocked... *jaw dropped*
