What are the Astra Awards?
The Astra Awards are a newly established award platform on Wattpad, meant to cherish, recognize and share the unique and compelling stories crafted by aspiring authors. We aim to celebrate writing in all its diversity and its beauty and are looking forward to sharing many wonderful stories with you.
How do I enter?
Please refer to the "Rules & Regulations" first to ensure you are eligible to apply.
If you have not violated any of the rules and regulations, fill out an entry form that will be uploaded in a later chapter. You are allowed to enter your own story, but can also - with permission! - submit somebody else's story.
How does the selecting work?
There will be judges for each category. If you would like to be a judge, please fill out the judges' submission form below. The judges will have a month's time to judge their stories, then submit their results for evaluation. Detailed information on how the judges can judge their category will be published in the "Entry form: Judges" chapter.
However, the judges will only be judging the best books from each genre - there are some extra awards that will be determined through votes from you, the readers! For further information please refer to the "Extra awards" chapter.
When is the submissions deadline?
The deadline to apply as a judge is July 31, 2017.
The story submissions deadline is - when all the slots are filled! No time deadline for you to stick to so far.
