Erza's POV

"So... What should we do about Juvia?" I asked, trying to start a conversation awkwardly. Gray picked at his burnt bacon and eggs and shrugged.

"It was just an accident, I mean, we already tried telling her but the didn't listen. Besides, it's not like I have feelings for her anyway," Gray grumbled.

"Still, she's our guildmate and our friend, so I think we should apologize again," I insisted. Juvia was a close friend and always helped guildmates in need.

"Apologize for what?" Gray growled, "For her making assumptions? Face it, we didn't do anything wrong! Juvia just walked in on us at the wrong time and made a crazy assumption. It's just a misunderstanding!" I was shocked. 

"How could you say such a thing? Imagine if you were Juvia, and you saw your crush who you've idolized for so long and have been chasing after forever making out with your friend?" My cheeks heated up. I could see Gray's cheeks turn red as well.

"Well at least we tried to tell her it was a mistake. She wouldn't listen to us! If Juvia really was our friend she would hear us out," Gray responded, flustered. I had to admit, it was true. 

"Let's just apologize and sort things out together," I sighed. I took a bite of black crispy bacon and gagged. The taste was vile. 

"No offense, this bacon tastes disgusting, Gray," I spat into a napkin. He blushed in embarrassment and shrugged.

"Sorry," He mumbled. He looks so cute when he blushes. 

"We should get ready, Lucy said to meet at the ferris wheel at 10. It's 9:15," I checked the clock, "I'll go brush my teeth."

Minty toothpaste bubbled in my mouth and I looked in the mirror. Was I really in love with Gray? It felt so sudden. Maybe I was blind before, always chasing after Jellal recklessly. Or, maybe I was just using him as a rebound after Jellal broke my heart. Screw Jellal. What an asshole for making me so torn and confused. 

I spat out the toothpaste and rinsed my mouth. Whatever, it's vacation. Stop thinking and have fun. 

"Let's go," I re-equipped out of my pajamas into a light pink tank top and some jean shorts with flip flops. We walked out the door together. My hand accidentally brushed by his and we both looked away from each other awkwardly.

"Uh, Gray?" I asked, reddening, "Can you hold my hand? I just don't want us to get separated." He grunted a quiet 'yes' and tangled his fingers around mine. My heart skipped a beat and I smiled. 

"Thank you."

"OK everybody! Gather around! Shut up, Natsu, and no, you can't have fish Happy. Gajeel and Levy, quit making out and listen! Ugh, you little rascals," Master tried yelling over us but failed. 

"You will have a partner so you won't get lost. Stay with your partner at all times! Even in the bathroom! Your partner is the same person who you share a room with. Now go have fun you punks!" He yelled, dismissing us. I grabbed Gray's hand and dragged him to 'the Viper', which had a bunch of loops in it. It looked scary yet fun. 

"Is it okay if we do this one first?" I ask, letting go of his hand. Gray nodded. I cheered and rushed over. There wasn't a line, since most people seemed to be getting breakfast. We climbed on and put down our seatbelts. Then the ride started.

"YEAH!!! WOOHOO!" I scream, grinning so hard my mouth felt like it was going to fall off. I looked at Gray who was sitting next to me and he was gripping the bar so hard his knuckles looked ghostly white. He clenched his teeth and shut his eyes as his hair whipped his face in the wind. 

"Uh, I should have mentioned that I AM TERRIFIED OF ROLLER COASTERS!" Gray yelled, opening his eyes. 

"You shouldn't have opened your eyes, my friend," I motioned towards tracks. We were at the peak of the whole ride, and we would drop down in a couple of seconds. Gray's eyes widened and he groaned. 

"Fuck."

"Three, two, one."

"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" Gray screamed, his face expressing true terror. I laughed, the wind slicing through my skin. 

"Shut up, Gray! I can't enjoy this ride with you screaming," I said. He didn't stop. 

"AHHHH--" 

I pressed my lips on his, cupping his jaw. The screaming stopped instantly. I smirked, letting go. 

"Wooohoo! Best roller coaster ever!"

"Hey Erza! Hey Gray!" Lucy waved, holding up an ice cream cone. I grinned cheekily and looked at her hand that was intertwined with Natsu's. 

"Hi Lucy, hello Natsu," I waved in return. 

"Why is Gray so red?" Happy pointed at Gray's face, which was, in fact, abnormally red. 

"Oh I don't know, Happy," I shrugged, smiling coyly at Gray. He looked away in embarrassment. 

"We better get going. Bye!" Lucy ran off with Natsu and Happy, leaving me and Gray alone. 

"Why did you do that?" Gray mumbled, fidgeting with his fingers. 

"I don't know. Want me to do it again?" I smiled. There was no turning back now. He nodded, turning even redder, which I thought was impossible. 

And then I kissed him again.
