"Ok, everyone. It's been a year since the travesty. we've been a successful family through all of this. We can't live like this forever though. we're running out of places to scavenge. Our best bet is to head to the city." Mom explained.
"Most likely we're not the only survivors, and the city seems like a big place where people could go. The only problem is that it would be a long trip on foot. It'll be dangerous too. The air is still contaminated from the bombs, and now it's getting worse. It's starting to drive the animals mad. I don't know what'll it do to us. Animals are becoming hostile so we'll need to be extra careful." I explained.
"When do we plan to go?"Dad asked.
"Tomorrow morning. I know it's quick, but we need to get there soon. We're running out of supplies."Mom replied.
"Ok. We can start packing today."Dad nodded. We all took a large backpack each with lots of food and water. We had enough gas masks for everyone and we all got weapons, except for Dalton. Dalton probably freezes up and stare eat whatever was attacking him. He would also probably use a weapon unsafely and hurt himself. We can't have him distract us from our goal. I can't believe we're doing this tomorrow. We'll be safe. We're a strong family.
