Chapter 8

Lucy Heartfilia pt. 2

I head towards my desk, there the name Natsu Dragneel is written down.

I log onto my laptop and there on different tabs are all his social medias. I decide to look through some of his pictures, there on his profiles are him at school. I get a notification, he followed me back on social media.

He goes to the same school as me, so that means that I will be able to see him more often.
I save his number on my phone, i put his name down as Natsu with a heart next to it.
I get a call from Juvia, "Lucy, you won't believe what just happened!" She says filled with excitement, "What happened?" I ask her. She explains her situation, she asks about my soulmate and I tell her it's a secret. "That's mean! Juvia deserves to know," she argues. I avoid the question, and eventually she gives up. After talking to her for a few minutes she begins to scream. "Lucy!! Gray-sama is calling Juvia! What do I do!! He's calling me!!!" she begins talking in first person so that's how I know things are bad. "Juvia, just calm down and talk to him. I'm hanging up, bye." I sigh and decide to go to sleep. 

Before going to sleep I grab my phone and text Natsu. I'm going to bed, hope to see you soon. Goodnight. I write down the text and send it. I get in bed and my phone rings. I answer the call without looking to see who it is. "Hey Luce. I know you said you were going to bed, but I really wanted to hear your voice..." My heart beat speeds up and my knees feel weak, it's Natsu, gosh his voice sound so sexy... "I-it's fine, don't worry. To be honest, I kinda wanted to hear your voice too." It's silent for a few seconds before Natsu finally answers, "S-sorry... I just... your voice is so beautiful... it caught me off guard. You're voice is just as beautiful as you are." he says the last part in a lower and more quiet voice. Why is his voice like that? I'm so lucky to be able to hear the voice for the rest of my life. "Oh... I mean... I really like your voice." I say as I feel my face heating up. 

We spend a couple minutes talking and flirting with each other, soon enough I begin yawning. "Are you tired?" I nod and realize he can't see me nod so I say yes. "Alright then, goodnight Luce. I'll go over tomorrow to pick you up. We're going on a date." I smile and my heart beats faster, "Just text me the details so I know when to start to get ready." I say. "I will, don't worry princess. Goodnight Luce," he says. I say goodnight and hang up. 

I'm excited for my date with Natsu. I wonder what he's like...
