Finally Found You (Fairy Tail Soulmate AU)

Birthday gift

So Drina turned 16 on March 31.
And because I don't like making a big deal out of it, I'll post this chapter that i had planned to post on my birthday...
So yeah I'll give you and extra and unnecessary chapter as MY birthday gift to you guys cause you're awsome and i haven't updated this in a while.

I wake up to my brother banging on the door. "Lucy hurry up!" He yells.

I frown. Why would i hurry up? I just woke up.
I check my phone and holy fuck! I'm going to be late.

I get quickly put on a black and pink dress that looks like it could be worn to a red carpet. I put some black shorts on underneath because i don't want people to see something they shouldn't.

I rush out of my room with some black platform heels in one hand and my purse in the other.

Loke shakes his head as i get in the car.
"You're a mess. What were you doing last night?" he asks.

My face flushes and i tell him that i was going over the files on the transfer at school.

"Lucy, you don't have to worry about it. It was sad that their school got burned down during the summer but you shouldn't worry," he says.

"I know, Natsu and Levy have told me it was fine but i can't help it."

"Or maybe you're just nervous about finally meeting your boyfriend," he says.

I've known Levy for about 6 years, after a while she added me to a group chat where i met Natsu. We became really close and talked every day.

We began dating 4 years ago (just a couple months before i began to model and the summer before high school) and we've yet to meet in person.

Due to us being in a different school, him joining football, and me being busy with modeling we had only skyped twice and that was about a year ago.

"I am slightly nervous. I have never personally talked to Levy's friends and it's been forever since I've seen Levy. I am worried though, Natsu said that he was with Erza and the others helping with something for student council's welcome party when it happened," i tell him as we're arriving to the studio.

"Come on, you have to get some rest for tommorow. It's your first day if senior year and you promised to be there early to show your friends around," Loke says as i finish my photo shoot and drags me to where his girlfriend is.
"I'll see you tonight Aries," he says as he leaves. Aries says bye and wishes me luck for tommorow.

I wake up at 6:05 am, i get ready and put on my some black skinny jeans and a light pink shirt that hugs my curves as well as a black leather jacket. I put on some black leather high heel boots as well and brush my hair.
I say goodbye to mom and dad, take my car keys and backpack and make my way outside.

I send a text to the group chat telling everyone to meet me by the back parking lot and make my way to the donut shop.

As i begin to turn into the parking lot and see Levy with a group of people.
I park near them and get out of the car.
"Hey guys, i hope i didn't make you wait long," i say as i hand Levy the boxes of donuts.
Levy smiles and hands the boxes to the guy that i know for a fact is Gray, his lack of layers of clothing gave it away.

"Lu! Oh my god it's been forever since i last saw you!" she says throwing herself at me in a hug.

Everyone smiles at me and Natsu holds out his hand.
I grab it and he pulls me into a hug as well. I hug back and i can feel my heart beating quickly.
I let go and i formally introduce myself. I've seen them all in pictures and i've heatd their voices when we would have a group call but this is very different, in a good way.

We sit there while we eat donuts and talk. They show me their schedules so i know where to take them.
I have two classes with Levy, Juvia, and Erza.
A class with Gray and Gajeel.
A class with Jellal and Natsu.
And two other classes with Natsu.

I take them inside and i show them around the school.

It's nice to know I'll have people that i can talk to now. Normslly people avoid me because they think I'm obnoxious or mean. I'm not.

I finish showing them around before 8:15 so we go hang out in the cafeteria. Natsu sits next to me, he hasn't left my side since this morning, he held my hand while i showed them around and he has been super sweet.
His hand is over my shoulder as we talk and wait for the first bell to ring.
Everyone begins to make their way into the cafeteria.

Everyone stares. I never hang out with anyone so it's probably strange to see me socializing with people. (Me. -Drina)
Natsu smiles at me and tells me not to worry about it, i nod and ignore the looks from everyone around us.

I have first period with Natsu and Jellal so they follow me to class.
Natsu walks with his hand over my shoulders the whole time while Jellal tells me about how much he likes stars.
We get to class and we sit together in the back. The groups are arranged in groups of for so Natsu drags me to the seat that has its back to the board but is next to him. Jellal sits facing the board and we all talk while everyone makes their way in.

"Lucy, can i sit with you. I don't know anyone else in this class..." Lisanna a girl that was in my English class last year asks.
"Sure thing Lis," i tell her as she sits next to Jellal.
"Lis, this is my boyfriend Natsu and this is Jellal," i introduce them.
"Guys this is Lisanna, she's a close friend of mine." They say hello and the bell rings.

Natsu distracts me all class since he keeps poking my cheek and stomach, i tell him to stop but he continues to do it.
At the end of class gives me a knowing smile and she walks up to me while Natsu is at his locker.

"How long have you been together?" she asks.
I tell her the story and she smiles.

"My boyfriend is away on a trip so he won't be back until next week, I'm sure he would easily get along with Natsu," she says.

Natsu walks up to us and smiles. "When he gets back we'll all have a gigantic group date. Juvia and Gray, Levy and Gajeel, Erza and Jellal... We can even invite your brother and his wife," Natsu says.

"They aren't married Natsu," i explain.
He shakes his head, he better hurry up. The press is waiting for some other guy named Hibiki to propose to her..." i smack Natsu and tell him to calm down.

"I'm going to class Babe," Natsu kisses my cheek and goes to class.

In the afternoon after I've gone home the news is out.
"Model Lucy Heartfilia has been in a relationship with star athlete of Fairy Tail academy for 4 years. That's before she evan became a model."

My mom asks me to bring him over and Dad smiles. Loke informs us of his plans of proposing to Aries. Also turns out Natsu's cousin, Sting, is getting married to his boyfriend Rogue.

Life is pretty good.
I'm happy with Natsu and it's all that matters to me.
