Chapter 12

Since the tape I've been paranoid. I can't go get a drink of water without waking up Justin with me.

"Baby?" I said shaking Justin gently.

"Yes?" he groaned. He turned to face me and gave a small smile.

"Can you come to get a water with me?" I sighed ashamed that I had to ask.

"She's not going to come, your just paranoid." He sat up and turned on his phone to see what time it was. He look at me and smiled and took my hand. "Come on...."

I got up and made some coffee. When I touched the hot glass it burnt my finger. "Ow!"

Justin shushed me and motioned his hand to the tv.

"Prisoner has gotten out of the prison, stay inside, she has a criminal record and she is very dangerous." the news reporter said. My hands trembled, I dropped my coffee letting glass shards scatter everywhere. Justin stood up and slowing walked to me avoiding the glass and hot coffee. He opened his mouth and closed it like he had lost the words he had just had.

"I will protect you." He whispered. I fell into his arms and started to cry when a knock came to the door.

"THIS IS ALL YOUR FALT!" My mom bursted threw the door. "If you would have not cheated on her this would not happen! Your the one that has messed up her life!" She broke into tears not paying any attention to the now cold coffee and broken glass.

"Mom, I'm fine. Don't worry, I have Justin, he is here for me. You can sleep here tonight."

*10 hours later*

After a long day it was finally time to go to sleep and I was really, I took my mom and set a bed up for her in the guest room and I went and laid down in the bed and cried. Justin rapped his arms around me and listened to my cries not complaining. He acted like he was calm but inside we all knew he was broken.

The news reporter sat up straight noticing that the camera was on. "There has been no sign of the criminal at lose." Those words sent chills down my back. "Wait..." She said nervously. "They have just sent in some evidence that they have found to bring them closer to finding and bringing back the criminal, the prison uniform has been found near Stratford." That's where I live. "If you live net Stratford, stay inside, back to you Dan." She smiled a obviously fake smile and it switched to someone outside. We stood there silent, not dating to say a word. I ran to the bed and dropped and cried, it....was...over.
