we walked side by side on the streets. the environment was surreal. it was totally different from korea. there were many people walking about past us. and the buildings were amazing. they looked more like apartments or houses. i didn't take the moment for granted so i pulled out my phone and began taking pictures of all the beautiful sightings. then, my camera focused on jaeeun who smiled at the view. without hesitating, i clicked the button and took the photo of her.

i looked at the photo and just stood there admiring every aspect of it. "what are you looking at?" her voice suddenly asked.

my heart beated and i quickly exited the photo app. "oh.. just searching of things to do here in netherlands," i said. "you don't need to. just enjoy yourself jimin," she replied. i slowly put away my phone as i looked at her.

"first, we got to find our hotel," she said. she grabbed her phone instead and went on our way walking.

later on, we finally found our designated hotel. we checked in despite the different language but manage to get to our room. the people were very nice and very hospitable. jaeeun led us ahead first all the way to our room until i realized we only had one key.

"wait. are we... sharing a room?" i asked softly bringing along my suitcase.

"oh, yeah. i'm sorry. it's just... i thought we could save the money doing that. i can ask for another room if you'd like," she said looking at me. she was settling her suitcase down when i stopped her. "no, it's fine. we should save the money. afterall, i don't feel comfortable with you being the only spending money on this trip."

"ah, don't worry about it. i'm glad we get to go on this trip. it's exciting!" she smiled. i let her go in first with me following after her. there were two beds and two lamp stands by each bed. the bed sheets and blackets were neatly tucked in. smiling slightly, it felt totally peaceful here. i didn't feel the need to worry about else but only wished this could last forever.

"which bed do you want?" she asked.

"it doesn't matter to me," i softly said.

"here, you get the window. i'll get the wall."
"are you sure?"

she gave a nod of her bed as she settled her suitcase near her chosen bed. "don't settle in too much. we're staying here for three days only. on the fourth, we're going to france."

"jaeeun, why are you doing all this?" i asked while i plopped myself on the edge of my bed.

"because... you deserve happiness jimin."
