the seatbelt icon suddenly lit up above us. i buckled myself up tightening the seatbelt against my waist as jaeeun did the same next to me. i can't remember the last time i been on a plane. it was almost scary. i licked my lips nervously as my eyes looked around, taking in my surroundings. suddenly, jaeeun spoke out of nowhere. "don't worry. just relax. it'll be a while until we get there."

i looked at her and i felt myself trust in her, something i haven't felt in a long time. her smile sealed it all. i couldn't help but smile slightly back at her.

"jaeeun," i started to say, "we're here." her eyes fluttered open as i lifted up to the window seal next to me. she peered at the window and saw we were going to land.

the voice above us spoke telling everyone to buckle their seatbelts and to stay in our seats. i felt the plane suddenly lower itself slowly and slowly towards the ground before seeing the pathway visible. the plane shook slightly and my first intention was to hold onto the hand rest only to realize jaeeun had took my hand into her's. she held it tightly only looking forward. i held my breath slightly feeling the plane hit the ground roughly and the noise of the plane increased. and finally, we slowed down.

i looked out the window seeing we were finally on the ground.

"we're actually here," i softly breathed out. i turned to look at jaeeun when suddenly i looked at our hands. they held each other's gently. then, i looked at jaeeun seeing she was looking back at me too. we shyly pull our hands away as i gave an awkward cough and stared back out the window hoping she couldn't see my face blushing lightly.

"come on. lets get off this plane."
