I looked at her with a smile and said,"Good morning, mom." She tapped a spot on the couch right next to her; her way of telling me to sit. I sat next to her and asked her what she was watching even though I already knew. "The news," she said. "They say they're working on a cure for that dreadful epidemic." "It's about time," said of voice from the bottom of the stairs. I looked over and saw my sister. Grace has dark blue eyes and dark brown hair. She looks just like our mother.I have light green eyes and dirty blonde hair, just like our father. Kruze has short blonde hair and dark brown eyes, unlike anyone in our family. Grace walked over to the couch and sat next to me. We watched the screen as people interviewed doctors and scientists. After about ten minutes of silence, Grace said,"Well I guess they're serious about that cure this time.""They'll find the cure soon. They always do,"mom said."I mean last time they tried to cure this epidemic, they failed pretty miserably," I said."Sure sis. I'm getting a little hungry now,"Grace said."Good for you," I whispered. She glared at me and punched me in the shoulder."Ouch," I yelled."Girls!"Mom whispered."The boys are still sleeping!"Grace smiled, looked at me, and said,"Then let's wake them up."
