I told them why the phone wasn't working. I told them about the new virus. I warned them about the people purposely spreading the virus."How could there be a new virus?" Mom asked."It's a man-made virus. I guess they were working on a cure for the epidemic in Europe. Only these people are traveling. They're all over the place. We have no idea who to trust anymore. This virus is supposedly incurable. Our population might die out. Around 10 out of the 15 billion people in the world are against us." The room went dead silent."Are we going to die, mom?" Kruze asked."We're going to be fine," Mom said in a shaky and uncertain voice. It was hard to realize what was going on. My dad had just died, and now there was an extremely deadly virus? I knew the world could never be perfect. Just like how it was 400 years ago. Madness. There was no way to know who was good and who was bad. And now, the only way to tell they had the virus, was the eyes. The eyes were purple. Colored contacts didn't even work. People tried, but if they did, they went blind. They said the virus just started today. The infected had bombed everything they could. Europe was completely destroyed. Everyone left. Including the virus.
