~Phoenix's POV~
*Yawn* I look over to where Zach sleeps. He is still sleeping, it's a good time to go to the bathroom (because the bathrooms don't have locks). I go to the bathroom, then get in the shower.
As I get out and was about to put make-up on, when he walks in in. "Uh-oh u-umm I-I'm sorry I'll just get out." He says and starts to close the door. "Agent Fox, don't leave it's ok, it's not like I'm changing or I'm going to the bathroom." Say feeling bad for taking such a long time in the bathroom. Then he slowly opens the door and walks back in."if you're not doing any of that stuff , what are you doing?" He says quite confused. I turn away from the mirror, towards him holding a beauty blender and foundation in my hand. He has a worried look on his face. "What's wrong?" I say, now being the confused one. "Um well ahhh don't take this the wrong way. But what happened to your P-Pre, uh face." He says sounding like he is gonna cry. Ohh he's talking about the cuts and bruises from the other night. Just thinking about it makes my stomach turn. "Um it's a long story, I was dancing and A Guy and b-bathroom and *Sobs*. "WHAT! WHERE DOES THIS GUY LIVE! WHY WASN'T ANYONE THERE TO PROTECT YOU!" He yells still sounding like he was gonna cry. "P-please *Sniff, Sniff* S-stop *Sniff, Sniff* B-being T-too L-loud." I say between sobbing. He grabs my shoulders and I scream out of instinct. "PHOENIX! WHO DID THIS TO YOU!" He yells again. "PLEASE STOP" I yell trying to get his attention. He lets go of my shoulders. "Sorry" He whispers and the starts tearing up. I sit down and just let it all out. Then he sits down next to me and he...puts his arms around me and he is crying but whispers " Is this ok?" I whisper back "Yea." I just sit there crying with him. He stops crying and runs his fingers through my hair and whispers comforting thoughts to me. I accidentally fall asleep. Then he wakes me up a couple minutes later. "Come on we have to go complete our mission."He whispers. "Ok lets go." I whisper back. I put the headpiece of my "uniform" on then we start walking down looking for the Mad Hatter. We walk for quite awhile. "So Z, about earlie-" I say getting cut off by him "Don't expect it again, Sorry." He seemed angry, but I wasn't the one making the moves. "Did I do someth-" I get interrupted again "You did do something wrong, it's all your fault!"He says louder then before. "I'm sorry to sound rude but what have I done to ma-" I get cut off again, but it's not Zach. "Don't you know anything about his past love life, it quite sad actually." It's the Mad Hatter and he starts laughing hysterically, as if his heartbreaking remark was funny. "shut up, SHUT UP, SHUT UP!" He says starting off whispering but soon starts to yell. The Mad Hatter just start laughing even louder.
~Zach's POV~
Why won't he shut up and how does he know. Why bring it up right now! I hear a scream and I look up and the Mad Hatter has got Phe! "LET GO OF HER!" I scream as loud as I can. He turns her around and hold her close to his body and brings his face closer to hers. She is crying hysterically and trying as hard as she can to get away. "How would you like a little peck from your master." The Mad Hatter says and winks. I charge at him then I stop with a jerk and then "AHHHHHHH" I get Zapped by something and I'm being held by real Mad's. The Mad Hatter starts laughing hysterically...again. "Please let her go." I say whispering because I could barley talk after being electrocuted. "Awe, that's sweet. Are you falling in love again?" He says smirking. "N-" he gets interrupted by the Mad Hatter "Be careful what you say because it could depend on wether I let your little girlfriend free or not." I don't know what to say I don't want to let her know not like this "I-I just care about her, okay?" I say quietly. "Hmm well I'll make a deal with you..." the Mad Hatter says mischievously. "Go on" Zach says. "Well if you take her place I'll let her go" the Mad Hatter says with the biggest smile I've ever seen. "Ok, I agree" I say happy that Phoenix will be alright. "Now, are you sure you know there's torture involved." He said somehow smiling even bigger than before. "No, stop, don't you know how these things work he'll torture you until you agree to give up Top Secret Information!" Phe says worried. "Don't worry Phe, I'll be ok! I agree to you're deal!" I say without hesitation. "Hmm, you seem sure that you'll be ok." He said and started giggling under his breath. "Well you've agreed, no turning back now" the Mad Hatter said and started laughing. "Take him away ladies!" He says with a great big smirk planted on his ghostly white face. "AHHHHHHH!" They electrocute me and then start dragging me off somewhere, my vision is too blurry to see. "WAIT!" The Mad Hatter says and starts laughing louder than ever before. Then I stop being dragged and I can see better now, but my vision is not fully returned yet. "Hey, look at your girl friend, you idiot!" He says and then kisses her and she is squirming and crying. "YOU SAiD YOU WouLD LET HER go!" I say trying totally but my voice keeps cutting out. "Oh, silly boy you forgot to shake on it." He says and starts laughing evilly. "NO!" I say as I start to cry and then start balling my eyes out. "Now, take him away my pets!" the Mad Hatter says pleased with himself. But then I stop again. "Master, what about the girl?"the group of Mad's say in unison. "I'll take care of her myself!" He says and starts dragging her away. "NOO,PLEASE,STOP,LEAVE HER ALONE,SHE DIDN'T-" I say, trying to yell as loud as I can but soon get cut off. "THATS ENOUGH OUT OF YOU! LADIES ELECTROCUTE HIM!" He says no longer sounding giddy much rather angry. "AHHHH!" The pain is almost too much to bare. "STOP, please!?" Phoenix speaks up for the first time in awhile. "SHUP YOUR TRAP OR YOU'LL BE NEXT!" The Mad Hatter snaps at her. "TAKE HIM AWAY NOW AND DON'T STOP FOR ANYTHING!" He yells at the girls.
~Phoenix's POV~
The Mad Hatter starts dragging me away in the opposite direction of Zach.
"You were pretty brave there piping up for your one sided crush." He said smiling, purposely trying to get to me. "However you will have to pay for that." He says quite seriously now. "I don't suppose you mean in money!" I say being a smart allic. "Oh, trust me it won't be in money! You'll have to wait and see sugar lips!" He says, that's what the man at the bar called me! "DON'T CALL ME SUGAR LIPS!" I yell at him. He smacks me and then I black-out.
