Our entrance to the city went as smoothly as could be expected.

Once inside, we leaped off the truck, into some bushes so we could lay low for a while.

"Duck!" hushed 121.

We dropped below the bush as a family strolled through. A little girl with a parent holding each of her hands walked along the path. The little girl stopped to pick up a dandelion that had grown between the cracks in the pavement. Turning to look up at her mother the little girl handed the flower to her. The mother bent down and kissed the little girl on the forehead.

"What about me, Melanie?" The father joked.

The father picked up the little girl resting her on his side and kissing her cheek. The daughter giggled as the two parents shared a kiss. Then the family passed.

A tear rolled down my face. Is this love? Something deep inside me ached with a warm feeling. A sense of envy and want. I wanted what they had. I wanted this form of love.

I shook the thought out of my head hoping it would never return.

"Let's continue. Act as though you are completely pure and oblivious of the outer circle," I ordered.

121 nodded, then we started our route to the center of Purity.
