Herc caught me staring at Alex before I caught myself. He picked me up and carried me over to him, of course I was still distracted, hence this being written after this happened. The only thing I remember about what happened next was seeing Alex holding out his arms to take me from Herc. I think I passed out or something from being surprised, because when I woke up, I was on my sleeping bag, with Alex sitting next to me, nervously tapping his quill to a book which was opened to an empty page.
I looked over at him, but it did not seem he noticed I was awake yet. I decided to scare him by throwing this at him, but he used his quill to block it, now there is a random ink line going down one the pages that I will have to use very soon.
He looked over at me and smiled again. God why do I get distracted by him so easily... There's no reason...

Herc walked in a few minutes later, carrying Aaron over his shoulder, and I immediately thought that Herc had accidently hurt him.
He looked at me with shock and said, "Oh- I'm sorry, do you two need to be alone?"
I looked over at Alex, who was blushing, and he said "N-no it's fine, what's with Aaron?"
Herc set Aaron down on his sleeping bag and continued, "I am not entirely sure... We were running and he just collapsed."
I looked down at Aaron then back up at Herc, asking him how far they ran. He looked at me and whispered that he was not sure, but he went around the track they had set up a few hundred times. I looked at him in shock and yelled "HERC! THAT IS OVER 100 MILES! HOW LONG DID AARON GO BEFORE THIS HAPPENED?"
He backed away and said, "Uh- all of it?"
Wow, Washington was right, they do have potential for greatness. I need to step up my game if I want to be better. I asked Herc if he felt like he could run any more, and he said he could run all day, so I headed out with him.
-------------------------------------
A couple hours later, we came back to the tent, everyone still there, and Washington followed behind us. He told me he saw me running and was pleased with my 1-on-1 training with Herc, then looked over at Alex and teased, "You better step it up if you want to be better than your boyfriend."
We both looked at each other in shock and Washington left our tent, laughing.
