I am not sure how long the hug lasted, but when I looked over Alex's shoulder I saw Aaron, Herc, and Laf watching, all mouthing "awwwwwww."
I attempted a weak smile, but was too drawn into Alex's hug, and rested my head on his shoulder. I could feel him rocking side to side and started to feel my face heat up. I tried to hide it, but I think I made it worse.
I held him tighter. I had to, it was the only way to hide my nervousness.
-----------------------------------
A couple hours have passed since that and I am now outside helping with agility tests. I see Alex in the distance with a small group of people, he seems to be calming them down. I wonder what happened, so I walked over to him, giving my group a five minute break. When I get closer, some of his group is crying, some are on the verge of screaming and tears.
I ask what is going on and he tries to explain that they are home-sick. It has not even been a week yet, they can not be. Alex asks if he can trade groups for a little while to see if I can calm anyone down. I agree and explain to him what I was doing in my group, before sending him over. His group can not be that bad, this can be another way I prove I am better.
I try for a few minutes to lightly calm them down by softly talking, which works a little until one of them started bawling theirs eyes out, which started a chain reaction. I can not do this myself, I need either Alex or Washington. I look over at Alex, who seems to be busy enough with my group, though still able to handle them. I have to let him be. I look over at Washington's tent and see him sitting under a tree. He is who I will ask about this. I tell my group to rest for a few minutes so I can go talk to him.
--------------------------------------
I am still on my own. Washington would not even listen to me, and now I have a group of people to help that can not be controlled.

Right after I returned from "talking" to Washington, a couple of my group members ran up and hugged me. What is this place? Everyone hug John camp? Soon after, more people from my group started joining, along with people from Alex's group, which had originally been mine. Yes, this is officially Camp Hug John.
I looked over at Alex and saw him reaching out like he was trying to stop his group. By this point, there were over twenty people piled around me trying to hug me, and I could not move.
People started to close on me more and it felt as if they were trying to trap me before Washington walked over and called out for everyone to back away. They slowly did, leaving me in the middle of a circle of people. Alex broke through the circle, but I think he was tripped sometime during it, because he fell on me, knocking me over. Washington looked down at us and smiled before leading the people away, he called over his shoulder that he would finish up their training for the day and that we could enjoy our time alone.
I am Washingdone with Washington.
