3rd P.O.V-
The leader looked at Star with pure terror and shock on his face which was then replaced with anger and revenge.The gates were being pounded on by thousands of wanderers that had all been drawn to the blood curdling scream of the guard.The mans leg was slowly melting away due to the flare and the blood and bones that had been melted were now pooling around the dead mans body.
Star ran torwards the leader while more guards poured out of the houses to secure the gates but then Star heard it.The boombox and of 'Way down we go' playing which had now meant Star letting go of all of his wires and boundaries.He jumped up and kicked the leader straight in the jaw immediately bouncing over to the female guard which was trembling and shaking with fear shooting through her veins and arteries.
Star picked her up and ran to the gates while slaughtering anyone that got in his way.He made it and began opening the gates with protests from the civilians of the village.He ran straight through the horde knocking everything down while still carrying the guard.He heard the screams of all the women men and children of the village which did nothing to deture his mission to make it through the crowd with the lady.
The boombox stopped playing and star began making his way back to his and Raven's base camp while having an iron grip on the lady.He stopped while in the middle of it all and put the lady down while tying her up with tears and blood all over his body.Raven jumped out of the trees and ran to Star while embracing him with the biggest hug she has ever given him.
She then began to beat him."How dare you scare me like that!?Do you know how worried I was you little bitch!!"Star chuckled a bit before kissing Raven on the cheek."Raven you do know that this all means we are going to war."She nodded before looking at the women Star had brought with him while she began babbling on words."P-please don't kill me!!I can help you."
Star grabbed the woman and lifted her up with one arm before noticing what was wrong.She had cuts all over her inner thighs along with purple bruises and bite marks,which had caused Star to drop her."N-no it ain't what ya think!I-it. . .was the leader he did things to me."Star looked over to Raven and she was paying no attention still being pissed at Star.
"What is your name?"Star looked down at the woman and she replied quickly."Moon."He laughed a bit due to the irony of on how he was Star and she was Moon."How do I and Raven know we can trust you?"She looked away with no response but he knew when he picked her up at owl city that she was dragged into the militia.He pulled out a hidden machete and cut her free from the bounds she had and looked her in the eyes."You try and get me or Raven killed we will come after you first without any hesitation.
Moon nodded her head quickly.She went and crawled into one of their many tents while Star began loading up his pistols and any other weapons he had hidden on his body.Raven walked infront of Star,"How could you trust her that easily?!"Raven was obviously mad but looked Star in the eyes with a look he has only seen one time before.Sorrow.
He looked away and pulled off his backpack."Because I know someone who was the exact same way when I first met her. . ."Raven hugged Star and cried into his shoulder always regretting everytime he brought her past up.He picked her up and slowly walked back to their tent while licking and kissing her tears away while caressing her cheek.
Raven blushed a bit and layed down in her and Stars sleeping bag.He watched her for a bit before walking over to Moons tent while peaking his head in noticing she was asleep.He chuckled softly and pulled a blanket over her while walking back out and spinning his staff around with precision and skill.He threw it into a tree and walked over.
He listened closely and heard a pack of wanderers while pulling his staff out of the tree and he saw a large volatile walking torwards their camp.He slid into the shadows waiting for it to pass by him.The volatile stayed still for a moment and looked around the area scanning for any immediate dangers while also planting down spores in case anything went hay-wire.
The spores had basically been signals in case this volatile was attacked or killed that would go off.Star had been quick to notice all the spore formations and realized he would have to deal with them first.Setting off a spore formation was basically setting off a grenade made from toxic dust which was not something you would want in your eyes.
Star walked slowly to the spores,taking into notice on whether or not the volatile was walking anywhere in particular.He began breaking apart the spores while being careful to not get any of the dust clung to his body.After some time he finally got rid of all of the spores the Volatile set down he crouched and slowly made his way over to it while clearly having a difficult time not making any noise.
That is when the tragedy happened.Raven woke up and yawned loudly as she moved around her sleeping bag.The volatile stiffened and looked torwards Raven.He began running torwards her."RAVEN GET OUT OF THE TENT!!"
