3rd P.O.V-
Star and Raven quickly jumped out of the tree,Raven going to grab Moon and the tent while Star was packing the canned foods into any of their packs that he could find.Some of the wanderers were now in eyes sight.They were slow but they were all in a large pack so speed didn't matter anymore,the only thing that did matter was strength in numbers.No volatiles were out yet so they had a good 8 hours to star moving.
Raven and Moon were both packing up the tent as quick as possible when a wanderer finally made it to the camp.Star quickly dealt with it with the use of his bow staff and threw Raven her arrows."Moon pack everything up!Me and Raven will cover you."Moon was working as fast as she could while Star and Raven were making quick work of the wanderers,knowing they could not use any of the guns they had.
A wanderer got close to moon and she let out a scream due to the fact that she had no weapons to defend herself.Star threw his staff through the creatures head,pinning it to a tree while Moon went back to work.Star grabbed his staff and began helping Moon pick up the stuff.They had finally finished."Raven let's go!!"Raven was overcrowded and some of the wanderers were closing in on her.
Star pulled out his ankle pistol and fired off 5 shots into their heads while Moon dragged Raven away from the pack.Star put his pistol back and hit one of the wanderers in the ankle with his staff.They all had started running out of the woods and looked around,trying to find an opening or any place to rest up and pin-point a location.Star saw a large clearing with no trees around so no sneaking up on them.
Star veered the group to the right,heading straight for the clearing when they saw a pack of people with rifles and SMG's slung over their shoulders."It's the people from owl city. ."Moon whispered to Raven and Star,who had been eavesdropping on the soldiers conversation. . ."Hey didn't you hear?Their is a horde nearby.Jake says we need to find a place far away to rest up so we don't draw anymore to them.""What happens if we find that dude,ugghhm Star!"
"Jake says bring him in alive."Star was beggining to worry about why Jake would want him alive but then a couple of wanderers had stumbled behind the soldiers,none of them noticing in time.A wanderer bit a large chunk of meat from the first soldiers neck while the other had knocked down the second soldier,struggling to get a good bite in.The first one screamed in agony as he shot off rounds in the air while he got dragged down onto the ground where wanderers who had lost their lower half had begun eating him alive and tearing his flesh off from his bones.
Star ran and kicked the wanderer off from the second soldier,killing it with a curb stomp while the soldier killed the wanderers that had been on his friend,while also shooting his friends head in the process so he wouldn't come back.The soldier then aimed his gun at Star with shaking hands and Star looked at him in the eyes."You would be dead right now if it wasn't for me.Put the god damn gun down and go back to Jake."
The soldier put his SMG away and thanked Star before heading back into the woods.Moon and Raven stood behind Star as he looked through a map,before pointing out a location that was about 27 miles away."It's gonna take us awhile but the horde wont find us if we do go that far out.Let's start walking before it gets too dark.They began walking while Star would look back every 20 minutes to see if they were being followed.
Their was a small pack of wanderers infront of them and Raven pulled out her bow.Star told her to not waste any arrows and that he would get rid of them.He crouched and slowly made his way behind one.He kicked it into the rest of them while stabbing his staff through one of the 6 wanderers.He curb stomped 2 that were on eachother and one of them had finally gotten up,lunging at Star.
He kicked its knee out from under itself,causing it to collapse and he had killed it swiftly with a quick kick to the head.The last two had gotten up and were walking torwards Star.He slammed one of them into a tree,making a branch go through its head,killing it in the process.Star kicked the last ones chest and threw his staff through the monsters head,making it go clean through.
