Ezekiel's POV
'What? Is she crazy? There's no way I'll be able to follow those requirements.' "I'm afraid I'm going to struggle with keeping my word if I agree to your wishes." I muttered.
"Then try to follow them the best you can." She growled and held out her hand. I hesitated to shake it to make the contract, but then I realized the whole reason I was in situation was because I'm the one who suggested the contract. I sighed and shook her hand.
"Now, where do you want the mark of the covenant? The more visible it is, the stronger our contract is." I recited from memory. She pulled down her right arm sleeve.
"Hurry up and put it here." She snapped and looked up at the black sky. Small white snowflakes began to fall from the sky and stuck to anything they touched.
"Of course, milady." I chuckled and put my hand on her shoulder. I concentrated, my demonic powers slightly harder to access due to my DNA. Suddenly, her shrill scream echoed.
"Wait, did you just call me milady?" she asked. I was about to answer her, but then she screamed out in pain.
Rayven's POV
'JESUS WHY DOES IT HURT SO MUCH?!' I wanted to shout at him. Tears flowed down my face. Finally, the pain subsided and Zeke released my shoulder. On the spot his hand was there was a blue hued diamond shaped mark. He had a similar mark on his left hand. I looked at it carefully and saw there was a purple four pointed star inside.
"There, now," he picked me bridal style and ran off in the direction of my home, "let's get you cleaned up."
I growled. "I hate it, Zeke. I hate it and it hurts like hell."
"Just be happy I even suggested the contract. I saved your life when I could have taken it." He growled and continued running.
"Damn you..." I muttered.
