Unspeakable Occasions

1. Detention on the first day?

Suzy POV

"Honey get up! You're gonna be late to your first day of work!"
My mom is tugging on my legs trying to get out of bed as I groan.
"Okay okay mom, chill. I'm up." I sit up on my bed and my mom pats my head.
"Good daughter. Now get ready."
I get up and get ready. I quickly grab a piece of toast and run out the door to the bus.

I check the time on the bus.

Shit...it's already 8:15? class started 15 minutes ago.

I quickly arrive to the school I start running because by this time its already been almost 30 minutes late.

I run to my class and barge through the doors.

All I see are about 35 students staring at me, surprised and confused.
"Um..Hi." I wave. "I'm Suzy Bae, or what you guys would call me, Ms.Bae, Ms.Suzy is fine too."
No response.
"Um..okay. Sooo I guess, get to your seats?" I say.
Dude, this shit is so awkward...

Everyone gets to their seat and I start roll call. Everyone is here except one person.
Daniel Kang.
I look up at the students from the list. "Daniel Kang?"

No response.
I ask again. "Daniel Kang?"

(...)

"Danie-"

As soon as I said the name the third time, someone walks through the door. It was a guy. His hair was messy and his uniform was unbuttoned. He looks like a typical kdrama school bad boy. I cant deny he isn't attractive either.
"I'm Daniel Kang." The guy said with a deep voice.

God damn.

"Well...Daniel, you're late."
"Okay and?" He looks at me with stern eyes.

The disrespect that he's giving me. I'm not gonna let anyone talk to me like that.
"Aaaannnddd, that means detention."
Daniel groans. "Seriously? On the first day of school? You're kidding."

"Well, jokes on you because i'm not."
Daniel rolls his eyes and sleeps the rest of lecture.

The bell rings for lunch and everyone leaves except for a few students. I believe their names were Chunga, Hoshi, and Sungwoon? Well, Daniel also stayed too because he was still sleeping.
Chungha looks at me and smiles. "You're really pretty Ms.Suzy, I bet all the guys fall for you. I mean it, you're like drop dead gorgeous."
I smile. "Oh...haha, thanks. Actually not a lot of guys hit on me. But thanks Chungha, you're also really pretty!"
"What is this? Is our teacher a lesbian?"
I look over to the kid who said that, Hoshi.
"Excuse me? That's very inappropriate Hoshi." I say and he scoffs.
"Dude chill out, you're only 2 years older than us. Literally we're like the same age. We could be friends."
It was true. I'm 20 while they're all 18. It wasn't a big difference and if I wanted to I could be friends with them. But they're my students.

It's the end of the day and I was so excited to go home, until I realized, I gave Daniel detention.
After everyone left, Daniel remained in my class, still asleep.

I grab some work to do and sit at my desk facing Daniel so I can keep an eye on him. About 15 minutes into doing my work, I look up, only to see Daniel staring at me. His hand under his chin, just looking at me. I look away but cant help to look back at him.
"Um.. can you stop looking at me?" I say.

He smirks. A hot one too. "You know, Suzy, I never knew how amazingly beautiful you are."

I blush and turn away, making sure he doesn't see.
"You're a student, you call me either call me Ms.Bae or Ms.Suzy."
I grab my paper work and sit at a desk instead so I don't have to face him.

Gosh...If only he wasn't so attractive what the hell. I'm freaking out.
I try to continue to do my work, but now all I can think about is Daniel. I turn my head to the left and find my face inches away from Daniels.
He smirks again and speaks in his busan accent. "Even more beautiful up close"

I blush even more than the first time. He puts a hand up to my cheek and cuffs it. We're staring into each others eyes intensely. He inches closer and closer to me, obviously aiming for the lips.
I push Daniel off and stand up from the desk and run my hands through my hair. "Gosh, what's wrong with you." I say before heading grabbing all of my belongings and run out of the school.

It's raining.

"You've got to be kidding me."
I start running through the rain to the bus station. It's been about 5 minutes and the bus still isn't here.

I hear footsteps walking up to me. I look over to see Daniel.
"What are you doing here Daniel?"
Daniel laughs. "You're not the only one who rides the bus."

5 minutes pass again. Still no bus. But there's still rain.

"Aigoo, this rain is just not stopping is it?" Daniel takes of his uniform jacket and hovers it over both of our heads. He's standing so close to me, I can feel his hot breath against my skin.
The bus arrives and I start walking towards it. As I'm walking Daniel sets the jacket on my head, covering my eyes and I hear footsteps walking away.
I lift the jacket and see Daniel running away from the bus under the rain waving. " Bye Ms. Suzy!!! I'll see you tomorrow! Make sure to wash the jacket!"
Unbelievable. I guess hes sweeter than I thought he was.

I smile, and get on the bus.
