"W-what! No this can't be happening" I shakily say
" sorry hunny but that's reality. I may not be here that much longer so I want you to have this" my mom said handing me a necklace
" what is this?" I asked
" it's your great grandmothers necklace that she gave to me and now I'm giving to you" she said placing it around my neck
" when did u find out U had cancer." I ask
" i knew for the past 3 years and now I'm starting to get weak and I think my ti-" she started
Her eyes rolled behind her head and she fell to the ground. Her body lying lifeless almost like.
" NO MOM! Please don't go please don't leave me here alone. I need you. I already lost dad and I can't lose u. Mom please I love just don't go ." I screamed shaking her body
She didn't move. Or breath. She was.... Dead! I grabbed the phone and called the ambulance. They made it in 5 minutes. While I was on the amblulance taking my mom to the hospital, Kirk texted me.
Text messages:
Bae: Baby where y'all at
Me: Miya is at your moms and I'm at the hospital
Bae:( Kirk) I'm on my way
Me: okay see u there
Bae: bye I love u
Me: bye love u too
{End of conversation}
They rushed her in the back room . 5 minutes after getting there. KIRK came rushing through the door.
" bae what happened" Kirk asked
" m-my mom d-died." I said crying into his shoulder
He bit his lips as silent tears ran down his cheek. He wiped them away so I couldn't see them but I felt them fall onto my shoulder.
" she had cancer for 3 years and didn't say anything." I added
" I'm sure she did it for a reason." He sniffed
" but I wish I would have at least known." I say
" let's go home and we can talk about it there." Kirk suggested
" but what about m-" I started
" she can stay with my mom for tonight." He said
"Ok."
We went home and I took a long shower and put on Kirk big shirt and some socks. Kirk did the same. I sat with my legs in Chris cross applesauce and fidgeted with my fingers. Tears strolled down my face as the images of my mom dying right before my eyes replayed. Kirk say in front of me and grabbed my hands
" are u okay" he asked
"YeAh I-I guess I'm okay." I said wiping away my tears then putting a smile on my face, " so how was your interview. I'm really sorry I couldn't make it."
" it was fun. I got asked questions ... A lot...but overall it was a great experience." He responded pulling me in his arms
" when's the next one?" I ask
" next week with 106 and park" he smiled
I squeezed his cheeks," aww my whittle baby is growing up."
" no no no my baby is growing up." He joked
" whatever." I laughed and rolled over turning off the light " goodnight my love"
" goodnight beautiful. I love you." He kissed my forehead
" aww love u too." I said kissing his lips and falling to sleep
He pulled me close and wrapped his arms around me.
" R.I.P mom I love you." I blew a kiss into the air and wispered
