This house is so beautiful and sleek
Inside this house is a girl who feels defeat
The man comes home everyday
Waiting to strike her for what's she's done
She stays home and takes care of the child
While he goes away if only for a little while
She tries to make the house look perfect, but he always points out a flaw
He gets drunk and gets so mad
She's shaking at fear at the monster he's become
He raises a hand to hit the little boy
She always jumps in front of him
The man hits the woman instead of the boy
As the boy cries for papa to stop
The man hits the woman till she's black and blue
The woman cries out pleading for him to stop
He won't stop and she can't leave
She is scared
One day the boy tells his teacher and she brushes it off
Later that day the boy calls 911 saying, "Daddy won't stop kicking mama,"
Finally Daddy goes away
