"Its just a joke,"The boys say.
Then how come none of the girls are laughing?
They whistle and whoop when walk by in a skirt.
"Hey baby what are you doing tonight?"He asks as he pushes you against a wall
You push him off and walk away swiftly.
Keys between fingers they tell you.
Don't walk alone at night.
Why should she have to be sacred
"Your a slut,"They call at her as she walks down the halls.
She's never even slept with anybody.
They push her into lockers as she goes down the hall.
No friends in this world.
It's just teasing the principle says.
Tells you "Boys will be boys,"
Really I guess its acceptable for boys to let there hands travel up a girls leg when she clearly yells "no stop,".
I guess its boys will be boys. When she walked down the street and the football team had there "fun," but that's just boys being boys right?
Girls are told to be quiet.
Don't be so dramatic
No boy likes a buzzkill
If he flips your bra he likes you
Boys will be boys
They call her a "Whore," cause the football team had there way.
She tried to tell someone, but they told her she was asking for it wearing that dress.
She yelled and said "No!"
But it was just boys being boys.
In one given school year 58% that's over half 7-12th graders experience some form of sexual harassment.
But boys will be boys right?
That's what they tell them.
It was just boys being boys don't be so emotional.
He was just having fun don't be such a prude
It was just boys being boys
One in eight high school girls says she's been raped.
But remember girls it's just boys being boys.

Hey Guys hope everyone liked this poem. I thought it was a subject that people don't talk about enough and I'm not trying to say girls can't be like this and it happen to guys. I was just doing it from my POV cause I am a girl. Also I don't mean to say all men arw bad either. Okay enough said.
