As Serena and I was walking hand in hand
Dawn was nagging on about how Gary wasn't in the same class as her
"It's like the teachers are onto us, the wanna separate our perfect relationship," She says
I intertwine my hand with Serena
"Nothing will ever separate us" I softly kiss her head She leans on my shoulder we continue walking to class
We arrived at class only a few seconds late so the teacher allowed us and didn't give a detention
As I looked around I could see all the eyes especially on me, and they were mostly girls
I sighed and sat down on a chair with two empty seats next to it so Dawn and Serena sat down
I heard whispers coming from across the classroom "wow, I can't believe Ash Is in our class"
"Serena is one lucky girl to be going out with the champion"
Serena took a glance at me and blushed
But her attitude changed when she heard someone else speak
"Too bad he gonna be my boyfriend," the voice said in a cocky tone
Dawn became concerned and tried to calm her down before she retaliated
I also cooled her down by holding her hand and mouthing "ignore them" to her. The teacher got up, waiting to start the lesson
He silenced the class and began to speak
The entire lesson we were learning about how Shakespeare changed the English language and in what ways was it good or bad

Right now I was heading to the lunch hall
"I can't wait!" I say loudly and throw my hands up in the air attracting attention t
"For what," Gary asks
"The Unova title challenge" I reply
"You have to go to Unova right"
I nodded
"This is gonna be a challenge, there is gonna be so many people watching"
Serena kisses my cheek "and I'll be supporting you all the way, win or lose"
"So when is the battle taking place," Sawyer asks
"I'm not sure, they haven't confirmed it yet" I replied
We arrived at the lunch hall which was filled with students
As I was looking around I felt the need of fresh air
"I wanna go outside it's too hot here," I walk out of the Hall and towards a massive Oak tree
Where there is limited sunlight and only a bit of shines through the leaves and just the perfect view of the landscape behind the School
"It's amazing right" I turn around to spot Serena
She sits down beside me
I take her hand and Intertwine it with mine
"Life is starting to get better and better by the day" I whisper
"well I think its better because we've finally found each other," She said softly
We spent the whole entire lunch time just chatting about my trip to Unova and how we'll cope with the LDR.
The bell rang indicating the start of our fifth lesson, PE
I got up and helped up Serena as well
We walked through the crowded corridors as we try to get to lesson on time
Eventually, we made it to lesson on time
"Where were you guys," Korrina asked
"Probably making out in the closet" Dawn joked
Me and Serena, with both our faces red in embarrassment, just huffed
"we weren't making out" I murmured, still blushing
It was all the time this happens, whenever Serena and I leave everyone behind And we return like half an hour later somebody (!Dawn!) always thinks that were making out and our reaction suggests that we did even though we didn't
Our PE teacher came up to us with a smug plastered on his face
"Okay guys today we are gonna have some battles, Pokemon battles and were doing it outdoors" he clapped his hands together "Follow me to the outside" he walked through a door which leads to the back side of the school building
"this brings back so many memories," Gary says
"Yeah, memories when i beat you," Serena says grinning
"well it was just luck" he replies in a cocky tone
Dawn comes in between the two
"you two always squabble about who is the better battler and it doesn't matter because" she pauses to take in a deep breath "today we'll decide who is better"
As I was walking I noticed Sawyer holding a spherical crystal with an orange and green color on the inside
So I crept up to him and scared him
"AAAHH!" he shrieked in a very high pitched tone
I burst out in laughter as he gained his cool "your reaction" I wiped a tear from my eye "priceless"
he playfully punches me in annoyance "Don't do that, you nearly gave me a heart attack"
I stared at the stone
"what is that" I pointed at the rock he was so focused at
he clutched it and smiled
"It's a Mega Stone, a Sceptilite, it a remembrance of my older brother" he chuckled
"w-what happened to your brother," I asked
He took out a notebook from his bag and showed me a picture of him and his brother
His brother is slightly taller than him and he looked to be in his twenties
"he left us to travel around the regions"
"Do you have a Sceptile to mega evolve with," I asked changing the subject
he nods "I wonder if we could have a battle," he asks with stars in his eyes "Mega Sceptile vs Ash-Greninja"
"Fine by me" I grinned
The coach pulled out a sheet of paper and started reading out what was in it
"so today, the first battles are gonna be Korrina and Dawn"
Korrina looked at Dawn as she took her place on her side on the battlefield
"try not to take any pity on me" She smirked
"I won't hold back" Dawn replied with a smile on her face
"This is gonna be a 1v1 battle" he started " choose your Pokemon"
Dawn tossed a Pokeball in the air and released Quilava
Korrina did the same and released Lucario
In the corner of my eye, I spotted a red bracelet attached to Lucario's hand with a Mega stone attached to it and I thought to myself
This could be an epic battle
