Chap- 32

I woke up the next day not feeling my everyday excitement
the sun rays shone through the blinds as the sun was rising

I got up and opened my curtains and saw the beautiful urban landscape of the Unova region
After looking through the balcony I thought to myself 'I wonder, what would Serena think of this place,' An Idea popped into my head
"I should spend the summer just us in Unova, I wonder how she would like this" I slammed my fist into my hand and a smile appeared back on my face

My phone began to ring on the desk, instantly knocking me out from my thoughts
I turned around and checked my phone to see it was Alder
"I wonder what he wants at this time" I questioned as I answered his call
"Ash, have you read the newspaper yet, it's about the little incident "
'Wait, yesterday?' I thought to myself but I couldn't remember

"I'm sorry Alder, but what happened yesterday," I asked
I could hear him sigh over the phone and after a few seconds later he comes back on
"I'll send a newspaper over to your hotel room" he replies
I sat on my bed and waited for it to come since Alder was in a rush for something and couldn't be able to explain what the heck happened yesterday

I took a shower and got my clothes on and by the time I got ready the doorbell rang
"Hmm, must be the newspaper that's so important" I murmured as I walked over to the door and opened it
As I looked out I saw that no one was there and there was just a newspaper tied up with a rubber band so I took it and closed the door behind me
I sat down on my beanbag and took off the rubber band to see the front cover

Unova King Brawls With Challenger

The Champion of the Unova region Ash Ketchum was seen having an argument with the Challenger Calem Xavier and later it then ended with Calem pouring wine all over Ash and The Champion retaliated by grabbing Calem by the collar and attempting to hit him but only to be stopped bt the former Champion Alder and Striaton Gym leader Cillan
After he left the scene and went back to his hotel where he is currently staying.

Just as I was reading this I started to remember what happened
"Just face it, Ash, you think you're the best there ever was, but soon just when you think your life is never better, it will be taken from you and the feeling of guilt and despair would take over you" Calem's voice rattled in my head

I held my head in my hands trying to get it out of my head
"Oh yeah, that happened" I groaned

After going underground and training with my Pokemon which managed to clear my thoughts I decided to tour around the city and see what has changed since the last time I've been here
I went into my wardrobe to find a disguise so I could travel around the place without getting noticed

After making my choice I decided on wearing a Navy blue Leather jacket with a black undershirt
Black jeans and black trainers and a blue hat with a white Pokeball sign on the front
"If this doesn't disguise me, I don't know what will," I say checking myself out in the mirror
Pikachu leaps onto my shoulder
"And you too Pikachu, don't want anybody knowing you look exactly like The Champion's Pikachu," I say as I get a pair of yellow glasses and place it on him

"PIKA PI! (We look awesome)" He squeals as I scratch his chin
I walk out of the hotel and for the first time, we are able to walk freely around Unova without anybody noticing that I'm a champion

For the last few hours we walked in out a few stores and went to a theme park that was nearby and it was very fun to me and Pikachu going on many rides, It made me feel like the days when me and my mom went to a funfair in Kanto before, I was only five at the time so it was before I went to summer camp and met Serena and before I was ten and got my first Pokemon which was Pikachu
After all the amazingly fun rides we decided to go back to the hotel and call it a day until we came across something
