Chapter 35: The Yule Ball

Your POV
Today is Christmas Eve and the night of the Yule Ball. I am so excited. Draco asked me to go with him, which I knew he would.

"YN, what are you going to wear?" Millicent asked.

I showed her:

"Wow that's beautiful!" She commented.

"Thanks. I got it in the mail today." I replied.

"You don't know who gave it to you?" Millicent asked.

"It didn't have a note attached. But I need to hurry, Draco is probably wondering where I am." I said and I hurried to get dressed.

Draco's POV
Where on Earth is she? She should be here by now.

I suddenly felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned around to face the stairs. YN was walking down the stairs in a beautiful dark green dress.

"Y-YN. You look beautiful." I stuttered offering her my arm.

"Thanks. You don't look to bad yourself." She replied.

We walked through the Great Hall doors and waited for the four that were competing in the Triwizard Tournament.

We danced and danced.

Listen to the music and pretend you're dancing with Draco.

After the music was over...
"That was fun!" I said.

"Yeah that was fun." Draco replied.

"I'll go get some drinks okay." Draco informed.

"Alright." I replied.

I walked to the nearest chair and sat down.

"Hey YN!" Someone said.

I looked to see Cedric running up to me.

"Oh hey Cedric!" I replied.

"Do you mind if I sit?" He asked.

"I don't mind. Whatcha need?" I asked.

"Um... I just wanted to see if you could wish me luck on the next task?" Cedric asked.

"Good luck." I chuckled.

"Thanks. Do you think I could dance with you?" He asked.

"If Draco says it's okay." I answered.

"Hey YN. I got the drinks." Draco said.

"Thanks Draco." I thanked taking my glass.

I took a sip before asking, "Do you think I could have a dance with Cedric?"

"As long as he doesn't try anything." Draco glared at him.

"Thanks man." Cedric said, "I promise I won't try anything."

"You better." Draco replied.

Cedric led me to the dance floor and we danced.
You can play the waltz if you want.

After the song finished I walked back to Draco. I sat back down by him and I took off my high heel, then rubbed my feet.

"Man, I love dancing, but I usually know my limits." I said, laughing.

Draco chuckled. He looked deep in thought.

"You okay?" I asked, "Are you still scarred from the whole ferret thing?"

I laughed when he nodded.

"Need something to keep it off your mind?" I asked.

"Yes I do." Draco replied, "What do you have in mind?"

I smiled and then I kissed him passionately.

He kissed back and after 5 minutes we pulled away.

"Better?"

"Thanks." Draco thanked, "Well are you ready?"

"Yeah." I replied.

We went back to the common room and went to bed.
