Chapter 42: Secrets

  Your POV
I woke up in my bed and stretched.

"Good morning YN." Millicent said.

"Mornin'." I replied getting up and dressed.

"We'll see ya later." I said after getting dressed.

"See ya." Millicent said.

I walked downstairs to find Keiynan and Draco talking. Or maybe Draco was warning him because Keiynan looked scared.

"Hey guys!" I greeted.

They turned to me and smiled.

"Hey YN!" They said in unison.

Draco glared at him and walked to me.

"So what are you doing tomorrow?" Draco asked putting his hands on my waist and pulling me closer.

"Just doing homework. Why?" I informed wrapping my arms around his neck.

"I was wondering if you wanted to do something after you do homework." Draco said.

"I'd love to do something with you." I responded.

Draco smiled.

"So why does Keiynan look scared of you?" I asked.

"Um... I warned him not to try anything on you because you're mine." Draco admitted.

"Of course you did. I love you and only you. I just think of Keiynan as a friend." I said.

"Enough of that. Let's get going." Draco commanded.

"Yeah I'm starved." I said.

"We can't have that now can we?" Draco said.

I smiled and we hurried out of the portrait.

Umbridge made it extremely hard for me during class. Extra work for me... Extra everything...

"So how are you holding up with Umbridge?" Draco asked.

"Fine. Just fine." I sighed.

"You sure?" Draco said.

I nodded.

"Well I have to get going. Quidditch practice." Draco said.

"Kay, see ya later." I said kissing him goodbye.

He walked away and I sat at the Slytherin table for lunch.

I was walking out of the Great Hall when I heard bickering.

"Disloyalty?" McGonagall asked.

"Things at Hogwarts are far worse than I feared..." Umbridge stated.

"Miss YN, come here for a moment." McGonagall instructed.

I did as she said. "Yes Professor."

"Come with me." She said.

I walked with her to the Headmaster's office. She said the password and we walked to the door. Professor McGonagall knocked and we walked in.

"Ah Minerva, Miss YLN. What do I owe the pleasure of this visit?" Dumbledore asked.

"Miss YLN has helped identify what Dolores Umbridge has been doing here at Hogwarts." McGonagall informed.

Suddenly, Dumbledore's facial expression turned to seriousness.

"What has she been doing?" He asked.

"For detention she had been making the students write with a quill that marks on the skin. The more you do it the longer it will stay. And she isn't teaching us the right grade level of Defense Against the Dark Arts." I informed.

"Thank you for the information. I will try to reason with the Minister to make her stop." He said.

"I don't think he knows about her methods. I think she is believing that He isn't back." I said.

"Minerva can I speak with her alone?" Dumbledore asked.

McGonagall nodded and walked out.

"Do you believe that Voldemort is back?" He asked.

"Yes, I do. I heard he needs me for something. That's why I have a flame mark on my wrist." I said showing the flame, "And he also sent my Father to try and capture me. That's why I've been on the run over the summer."

"I hope you are going to be safe this summer." Dumbledore said.

"I do too." I replied.

"You can go now." He said.

I nodded and I left.

  Outside of the Room of Requirement
I was walking near the Room of Requirement to my next class. The room only opens up to the ones who really need it. In my case I need it, but not at the moment.

-After School-
Finally it's the weekend! I was walking near the Room of Requirement back to my common room, when it opened.

Thank God.

I walked through and targets were set up. Since Umbridge wasn't going to teach me Defense Against the Dark Arts, I'll have to teach myself.

I fixed my aim on the first target in front of me.

"Expecto Patronum!" I shouted.

My ___________ patronus bursted out of my wand and flew around the room. I smiled.

I practiced many other spells and went to dinner.
