Chapter 38: Quick Escape

I gathered my things into my trunk. My robes, wand, books, and my cat Jinx.

I have been on the run for months. The Dark Lord wants me for something and I don't know what. I put my jacket on with a silver dress on.

I was on my way to platform 9 3/4 when a boy my age bumped into me.

"Sorry." He said.

He had black hair and tan skin. I didn't see anything, but that.

I hurried through the wall and got onto the train. I looked through the compartments to find my boyfriend and thankfully he was just with Blaise.

"Mind if I join you?" I asked them.

Draco looked up and when he saw me his eyes lit up.

"YN!" He said getting up and hugging me.

"How are you?" Draco asked.

"Good." I answered.

"I'll let you guys catch up." Blaise said before leaving.

I sat across from Draco and putting my trunk up, leaving Jinx's cage beside me.

"I'm so glad I'm going back to Hogwarts." I said.

"How was being on the run?" Draco asked.

"It was horrible." I groaned, "They almost caught me, but I got away."

"They almost caught you?! Tell me now and I'll have a conversation with my parents when I get home." Draco replied.

  ~Flashback~
I was lying on the bed of an abandoned house until I heard a voice.

"YN, come out I know you're in there." They said.

It was a male voice.

Not a chance...

I had my things packed already so I could make a quick escape. I grabbed my trunk and Jinx's cage where she was still asleep.

"Good kitty." I muttered.

I scurried out of the window making sure I made no noise.

"YN! Come out now!" The male voice boomed, "It's your Father. I bet you have questions for me. Come out and you can ask them."

"Never..." I murmured.

And I made a quick escape out of the window.

"Of course it was tempting, but I knew I had to get away. Or else I would be asking them in a dungeon." I said.

"I'm just glad you're safe." Draco said.

We talked until we had gotten to Hogwarts.
