Kantai Collection: The New Generation

Arrival

The sound of various aircraft can be heard on the busy air stripe as jets, helicopters, and prop aircraft taxi, take off, and land. However at the terminal where people wait for their flight a group of young men and women were waiting on a bench for their flight.

"ugh how much longer we got to wait" said Jones

" you know we have to wait for our support right " said Howard

" but we have been waiting for a while " said Spruance

"oh come on now we haven't been here that long " said Sampson   

"plus we need those other vessels guys right Nimitz " said Pinckney

"that's correct we can't be a proper CSG without the others don't forget were the only CSG able to operate at full strength right now " said Nimitz 

 " you make a good point " said Jones

" hey I think that's them now " said Howard

And low and behold there were four vessels approaching them two submarines, and a cruiser.

" well ladies I'm glad you could join CSG-11 we've been waiting for you, I'm sure no problems occurred " said Nimitz

" no problems we were just running a little late " said the cruiser

" I'm sorry we haven't really introduced ourselves yet " said Nimitz

" oh good point " said the cruiser

"I'm the first of the Ticonderoga class guided missile cruisers USS Ticonderoga "

Ticonderoga was very similar in looks to the Burks though she looks slightly older at about 20 years old, she also had some of the angular features and wide hips the Burks have. Not surprising since they are both derived from destroyer hulls although they have slightly more bulk ot them. She wore a simple uniform consisting of a grey skirt, jacket, thigh high socks,  and boots. She had long black hair and brown eyes.    

"I'm the Los Angeles class submarine USS Bremerton SSN698" said the first sub

One of the many differences between modern and world war two ships is the uniforms,  generally speaking  modern ships wear much more formal and standard uniforms then their predecessors, the only exception are submarines who wear full body suits somewhere between a diving suit and a 1940's swim suit with portions of their hulls their suits also tend to be skin tight so it shows off more of their figures.

Bremerton looked about 17-18 years old with short brown hair, amber eyes, subs tend to have rounder and softer features compared to surface ships, she wore a full body suit with form fitting potions of her hull attached to her arms, legs, back, with a collar around her neck, and she had on form  fitting boots. She looked every bit the modern sub she was despite being on the older side of subs.

"I'm her younger sister USS Dallas SSN700" said the other sub in more cheerful tone

Dallas was looked about the same age as Bremerton except she had blond hair and blue eyes.

"excellent now we better get going before we miss our flight " said Nimitz  

the seven ships gather their bags and head off to catch their flight as they make their way to their flight they get multiple side long glances, not surprising considering the group is a interesting assortment of people or ships or you know what I mean.

Hello everyone it's me courseair I know it's been a while and I'm sorry for the lack of updates just letting you know I'm still writing and I'll still update from time to time. this is easily the shortest chapter of any story I've ever written but I just wanted to be done with it so yeah I cut it short don't worry the next chapter will be longer and my other stories will get updates when I can't say right now but It will happen.
