The Collector with his head wrapped around in a bandage, a large black/purple bruise underneath his right eye, he stares forward numbly as he sits in his destroyed archive beside a broken glass cage, the dog in a space suit, goes up to him and starts licking the side of his face. The Collector unfazed by the dog, continues to stare forward and he takes a sip of his drink, the dog then walks away.
A voice across from the Collector says disgusted, "Why do you let it lick you like that for?" The Collector turns his head a tiny bit as he heard the question, Howard the Duck sitting in a broken cage, holding a glass to drink in his hand, he says referring about the dog, "Gross." He takes a sip from his drink, "Yeah! But it burns going down."
