Betrayal

I woke up dizzy and vision so blurry as i checked my watch. I was wondering why i was at school at 5:53 pm. And then i realized it wasn't a dream. I was actually still in a school with a murderous psycho roaming the halls. I couldn't hear any bullets being shot or any police sirens. What was keeping the police from arriving at the school? Was it that the shooter had hostages or that they were never called. I didnt care to find out. I was only focused on escaping. I stood up and peeked out the window of the library door. I slowly opened it thinking that the school was abandoned. I slowly walked down the hall being as cautious as possible. I saw a boy sitting against a trashcan crying. When i realized it was my bestfriend. I quickly ran up to him forgetting about being cautious and as i got closer i saw blood. I couldn't believe my bestfriend was shot. "Zach....what happened?" I asked with tears in my eyes as i felt sorry for him. He told me that he was shot and he faked dead. "You will be ok trust me" I reached in my bag for medical supplies and as i grabbed bandages  he started laughing. "Zach.....why are you laughing" I felt a chill down my spine as he said "You fool i have been stalling you all this time. You see i made a deal with the shooter that i would stall anyone that came close to me and in return i get to live." My eyes were as wide as ever I couldn't believe it. My own bestfriend had betrayed me. But before i could do anything or even speak. I felt it 3 bullets piercing my skin as i fell to my knees I looked up at Zach as he laughed at me. My mind went blank as everything around me went black.
