          {1 week before graduation}

It was another boring day, pre-calculus was annoying just like always. I know nothing and wasn't learning anything. I couldn't even believe I made it a whole year without learning a thing. Can't wait to get out of this school, economics was worse. That teacher made my anxiety go through the roof. The only thing that sucks is my crush is graduating. I'm not since I'm a junior, the stupid school has my shit mixed up. I just wanted to be with him, glad I had a stable friendship I guess. His company was all I wanted and all I needed. But it is going away soon, as he graduates. I will most likely lose myself. I hate that I had senior classes, my only friends were seniors so they're also gone too. I hate this school and don't wanna come back next year, damn it. That one girl....Chloe, she seems different, like me into the same sex. She seems to be into Samantha. Ugh, I wish this year wouldn't end. I don't wanna see him go, I never had the courage to ask him, even after countless friends told me to go for it, I couldn't. Setting myself up for a relationship with the end in sight, and that sight not even far away. I'm slowly losing myself. Someone needs to save me before it's too late...

Light shined on the man's face as it revealed him to be the dean. Chloe, Samantha, jack, and Susan all jumped up quick. Chloe spoke up first. "You're the dean?" He nodded with a smile across his face, across his stupid, idiotic face. Samantha decided to talk as she went to approach him but was stopped by Jack. "He's the mastermind, the head of this all. He's very dangerous." The dean laughed as he looked Jack in the eyes. "Have you gone crazy or something, kiddo? Why would I be dangerous? We are all hiding from the shooter." Jack shook his head "You ca-" Chloe interrupted. "Yeah we are all hiding aren't we yet you have been up here all this time. Even with the shooting gone, hours later. And you're not even suspicious on how no one has shown up, no cops or anyone. The dean laughed "It is crazy, isn't it? Funny how things turn out. Funny how test go..." Samantha and Chloe stood there shocked "T-test?" My vision began to go blurry as I collapsed to the ground. "Jack!" Susan yelled as she caught me but slowly passed out as well. Chloe and Samantha slowly backed up as Chloe had her gun aimed at the dean. "Wh-what did you do to them, you bastard?" The dean showed Chloe and Samantha a red cube. "They're different, they know more. And they are easy to control. Like robots but not exactly. Some people today won't leave, some will." Chloe stared at the dean "B-but we killed the shooters, we killed your shooters..." The dean laughed, "Everyone and everything has been an illusion. You've been misled and pushed towards thinking your life was endangered by either shooters or cops. Jack and Susan, they knew all along. They were avoiding my office for a reason, they wanted to escape, but you brought them back to me. They hid from me, they tried to get away and blend in with students. So I had the school shot up, and you did the rest. Took the bait, got close with them, and now they're here. I will finally end them once and for all. You have no idea what you've done. And you won't leave either, no witnesses."
