One thing Steve loves is cookies. He loves the sugary little treats. If he could have anything, it would be cookies. He's like the Cookie Monster, even though he has trouble getting to his biscuits.Steve is not tall enough to reach the cookies by himself, so he had decided to seek help from his purr-fectly purr-ple feline friend. Climbing on top of the unamused Juliet, he stretched up reaching for the counter. If he could reach it, maybe he could knock the jar off of the counter. If he could only... reach....
Failed Attempt Log 1:
It has been a week since the jar had been sitting just out of my reach. I know I can't open the lid myself, but if I could knock it off of the counter, maybe it would shatter.
I've tried so many times to get the cookie jar. But now Juliet has decided to join me. I leapt off my podium only to miss and cling onto the pole. She is so close... yet so far away....Failed Attempt Log 2:
It has been two weeks. Why can't I reach it! Maybe I'm not destined to eat those delicious baked goods. Today I almost reached it. Almost. I leapt to the podium: the new location of the jar. It wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't knocked it with my paw and sent the jar tilting it the opposite way. Why... why can't I have it....
Failed Attempt Log 3:
I lost track of how many days that it has been since the cookie jar had been relocated to the counter again. I have it now! As I peered down from my ledge, victory was just inches away from my grasp. Today is the day! I will be victorious!Feeling confident, I leapt. From where it looked, I was going to reach it. Just then, a striking pain jolted through my chest. "Gwah!" I choked digging my claws into the counter top. I was so close. The pain is real... I will get those cookies. Just... not today....
