Steve had been trying for weeks now to get the cookie jar off of the counter. Every time he would try, he would fail. But Steve was not a quitter. He would persevere and keep trying to get to the delicious cookies in the cookie jar.

One day, Steve decided that he would try another attempt to get to the cookie jar. He looked around the kitchen for a potential spot to get it from. The counter was out, he was too short and Juliet was not there to help boost him up. The ledges and posts were out for he had already tried and failed from there. The lemurcat would then look up and notice the red orange light fixtures. "Perfect." He thought to himself as he climbed to the ceiling and slid down the pole to sit onto the small dome shaped light fixture.

Wrapping his tail around the pole, Steve created a safety net for himself in the event of his paws slipping off of the smooth surface

Wrapping his tail around the pole, Steve created a safety net for himself in the event of his paws slipping off of the smooth surface. Steve looked down at the cookie jar from above. He positioned himself before he leaped off of the light fixture in the direction of the jar of cookies. The force of him pushing off would cause the lamp to swing for a bit after he had left it.

Before he landed, Steve realized he was headed right towards the jar. And before he knew it, the little lemurcat landed with a thud onto the counter top. He winced as his chest hit the cold hard marble, the jar shook and was thrown off of the counter by the impact.

Crash!

The sound of the jar falling onto the ground and shattering into two main pieces plus various little shards jolted Steve out of his faze

The sound of the jar falling onto the ground and shattering into two main pieces plus various little shards jolted Steve out of his faze. He blinked before looking around, soon realizing that the jar was no longer on the counter. Steve looked over the edge and saw the chaos that he had caused. He was afraid of what his human would do if he saw this, yet he was also happy for he had achieved his goal. Without a further thought, he leapt down and took a seat in a shattered glass free zone. Pulling the floor cookies and broken cookies to him, Steve enjoyed his victory with the sweet flavours of chocolate and peanut butter as he devoured the cookies that he pulled towards him.
