"Hey Nessa" Mack says to me

"Yeah Mack?" I asked

"Want to come over my house?" she asked

"Umm sure let me just tell my mom ok?" I said

"Ok" she said and I rang my mom

"Hello?" she answered

"Hey mom" I said

"Is everything alright?!" she asked worried because I was calling during lunch at school

"Yes mum I'm alright, but do you think I can go to Mack's house?" I asked

"Umm sure cause I'm working late and dad won't be home until 7 so yeah" she said

"Thank you mum!!" I said

"So Mack?" I said

"Yeah Nessa" she said

"How would I introduce myself?" I ask

"Cause I never met your parents" I added

"You sound like we're dating"

"I'll just say hi Mr and Mrs. Beckham" I said

" just say David and Victoria" she says

"No. Cause that's just rude. I mean your freakin dad is the only football player I looked up too. Cause you know I play soccer" I say

"It's weird that you look up to my dad" she says

"Well your dad is one of the hottest football players, also Cristiano He's also hot" I said

"Eww dude you know your freaking talking about my dad!! That's disgusting" she says as she shook her body in disgust and we ended up at her house.

Her house is huge! I couldn't believe it! I just stand there in shock

"Nessa? What are you doing just standing in the drive way" Mack asked me snapping me out of my thoughts

"Sorry I was just admiring your house" I said.

"Yeah yeah come on" she said and dragged me inside her house

"MOM! DAD! IM HOME" she yelled

"They're at Ronaldo's match" a very cute boy comes in eating an apple

"Ohh ok. Ooh and Brooklyn this my best friend Vanessa. Vanessa this is my annoying big brother Brooklyn" she says

"H-hi" I stuttered

"Hey" he said with a smirk

"Okay Vanessa lets go to my room" she says dragging me

"Sorry about that" she said as we enter her room

"It's fine" I said

"Well should we do homework orrr?" she said

"Umm lets play football cause I want to play like right now" I said

"Ok let me get the football" she said as she left the room and I followed her

"Ok ready?" she asked holding the ball

"Yeah" I said

"Brook we're going to play football at the park! okay? okay. Bye" she said and we left the house

"Wait I want to come too! Romeo watch Harper and Cruz" I herd Brooklyn yell

"Why do you have to come with us?!" Mack whined

"Cause I want to play some football and practice for the game tomorrow" he said

"Well can't you practice here" she said putting her hands on her hips

"Well because 1. we don't have another ball 2. There's not really much room and 3. I want to play a 2 on 1" he said with a wink at me and I blush

"Fine!" she said as we started to walk to the park in silence

5 minutes later

"Ok we're here" Mack said and I took the ball away from her

"Ok so how are we going to play?" I asked

"What do you mean?" Mack asked

"Well who's on who's team?" I asked

"Umm ok brook do you have a cent?" Mack asked Brooklyn

"Yeah why?" he asked

"Cause we'll flip a coin on who's on Vanessa's team" she said as Brooklyn passes her the coin

"Ok call heads or tails when I throw it in the air" she said to Brooklyn and flicks the coin in the air

"Tails" he called and landed on tails

"Ugh ok Brooklyn your on Vanessa's team and i'll call Luke to see if he wants to play" she said going to a tree and dialing his number

You see Mack had-still does- huge crush on Luke Robert Hemmings. He's 15 so a year older than us but Mack likes him and he likes her. I just hadn't told her cause I was once talking to him in the library and he said he had a crush on her.

"So Vanessa?" Brooklyn asked

"Yeah?" I answered

"How long has you and Mack been friends?" He asked as we sat on the grass with our legs out and out arms holding us

"Um since 2nd year" I said remembering how cute we were

"Wow that's been 7 years" he said

"Yeah" I said

"This actually my first time being here at her house" I added

"Really?" he asked

"Yeah. I don't know why she asked me all of a sudden though" I said fiddling with the grass

"So do you have a boyfriend?" he asked trying to change the subject

"Nope" I said

"how about you? Do you have a girlfriend?" I added/asked

"HAD one but she dumped me though" he said

"I'm sorry" I said

"It's fine I mean we never really did any couple stuff or anything" he said with a shrug

"Why don't you have a boyfriend?" he asked

"Well I'm not crushing right now and all the guys that ask me out are all rude" I say

"Ooh ok" he said and Mack came back

"He said yeah and he's coming in 2 minutes" she said with a big smile

Mack's pov

I can't believe me and Luke lost to Brooklyn and Vanessa. As soon as we got home Vanessa met my parents, then we ate kinda noticing romeo looking at Vanessa but anyways, then we started doing homework soon Vanessa had to leave, and I'm still doing homework until Brooklyn came in.

"So Mack can I hang out with you and Vanessa tomorrow?" Brooklyn asked

"Why?" I asked but then I got it

"You like Vanessa don't you!" I said

"What? psshhh no" he said

"Oh really?" I asked

"Then WHY do you want to hang out with me and Vanessa?" I asked

"Ok I have a crush on Vanessa, so what" he said

"So what? That means you have a crush on my best friend!!" I said

"So is it a yes or a no?" he asked

"I guess" I answered

"Thank you!" he said

"Yeah yeah" I said and he walked out of the room
