Vanessa's pov

After me and Brooklyn's snog we walked back hand in hand again, as Mackenzie walked towards us with Romeo

"Hey guys where were you guys?" she asked

Me and Brooklyn look at each other and blush

"Wait were you guys snogging each other's faces?" Romeo asked

"Umm" I said looking at Brooklyn's swollen lips as he looked at mine

"I knew it! Romeo you owe me 5 ponds when we get home" Mack said

"Well anyways your dad told us to tell you that your going to sing in a moment" Mack said again

"Ok" I said

My dad wanted me to sing a song that my uncle Justin wrote to my aunt Sarah when they got married which is called, a drop in the ocean (a/n: I know that song is made by Ron Pope, but in this book it isn't)

I sat on the piano seat and spoke on in the microphone as I see mack, brook, and Romeo go to their dinner seats with their family and mine

"Umm I was told to sing this song that my uncle made for my aunt in their wedding, I'm pretty sure people who went would remember but if you don't then you'll slowly will" I said pressing the keys on the piano

My mum and dad started to cry and so did some of my uncles and aunts.

I stand up from my seat,and walked up to my family as they hugged me.

---1 month later on a Friday---

"Alright children that's it you may walk home and have a nice weekend" my teacher Mrs.O'Donnell said

I pick up my books and walk out the door to see Mack and brook

"Hey guys" I said as Brooklyn grabbed my hand and we started to walk together

"Hey do you think we can stay over today?" Mack asked

"Yeah, sure" I said

"Thanks" she said

"No problem, so what's happening?" I asked

"Parents are going on a date, Cruz is at a friends house same as Romeo, and Harper is at play date with my cousins" Brooklyn said

"Ah ok" I said

Me and Brooklyn walked in front of Mack when the side walk got smaller and we were talking we herd a snap. we both look back to see what Mack did and she showed us a picture of me and brook holding hands.

"Aw you got to send me that photo" I said to her

"Ok I will" she said

"So Mack how's you and Luke?" I asked

"Oh um, we broke up" she said walking on the grass so I see her

"What?! when?" I asked

"On Monday. but I broke up with him" she said

"Why? I thought you guys liked each other?" I said

"Well that's what I thought too, but he cheated on me" she said

"With who?" I asked

"With Rebecca" she said

"With that slut?" I asked and she nodded

"Do you want me to beat him up?" Brooklyn asked

"No. I'm fine" she said fiddling with her fingers

"How about me and you have a girls night at my house tomorrow ?" I said

"I'd like that" she said

"Great" I said

"Look at that my two favorite girls friends" Brooklyn said as his arm over my shoulders and Mackenzie

"Shouldn't I be saying that but in people wise?" Mack questioned

"Ugh yeah, you had to kill my vibe" he said and we laughed whilst he grabbed my hand again

"Sorry that's what sisters are for" she said skipping in front of us

Brooklyn's pov

7:45 pm

I was out side of Luke's house and knocked on the door

"Hey Brooklyn" he said

"Hey Luke can I speak to you outside?" I asked

"Yeah sure, hey mum I'm gonna be out side for a bit" he yelled inside and came out closing the door, "so what's up?"

And I punched him in the cheek

"Ugh mate what was that for?!" he asked putting his hand on his cheek

"For hurting my sister" I said and kneed him in the stomach

"You better think twice about what would happen when you broke my sisters heart" I said, "by the way if you tell anybody I hurt you, you better watch your back"

I was about to walk home when Luke came behind me and attacked me to the ground and started to hit me as well but luckily I was strong enough to push me off and hit him back.

But someone pulled us back

I couldn't stand no more and felt broken
