Mackezies pov

I saw Brooklyn say he was going outside for 'a walk' so I followed him down and see him at Luke's house. Why would he be here?

I hide behind a bush and watched.

"Hey Brooklyn" Luke said

"Hey Luke, can I speak to you outside?" my brother had said

""Yeah sure, hey mum I'm gonna be out side for a bit" luke yelled inside and came out closing the door, "so what's up?"

And Brooklyn punched him in the cheek

"Ugh mate what was that for?!" Luke asked putting his hand on his cheek

"For hurting my sister" My brother said and kneed him in the stomach

"You better think twice about what would happen when you broke my sisters heart" my brother had added, "by the way if you tell anybody I hurt you, you better watch your back"

I saw that he was about to walk home when Luke came behind him and attacked me to the ground and started to hit me as well but Brooklyn was strong enough to push me off and hit him back.

I couldn't take it any more, I stopped hiding and walk towards them and pulled them apart.

Brooklyn looked at me

"Mack" Luke said

"Don't in you bloodly call me Mack" I said to luke, "now go back inside"

He did as what I said. I grabbed Brooklyn's hand and pulled him off the ground.

"Why would you fight him when I told you not to?" I asked him

"Well he hurt my little sister. I wasn't let him get away with out breaking him" he said

"Brooklyn I'm not a little girl anymore. I can take care myself...and if I needed you I would've said so" I said

"I'm sorry... Just don't tell Vanessa" he said

"Why would i tell Vanessa? You should tell her. I mean you are her boyfriend" I said

"I'm not going to tell Vanessa" he said, I was shocked cause he always tells her everything and never lies to her

"I'm just Ignore her until these bruises get healed" he said

"I don't think that's- " I said but got cut off by Brooklyn

"It's not your decision, it's mine" he said

"I don't want my best friend, to get hurt" I said

"she won't I promise" he said

"Brooklyn you don't know how se-" I told him but again got cut off by him

"She's going to get hurt, trust me I know her" he said walking faster in front of me

"Not better than me" I whispered as we entered the house

---next day---

6:00 pm

"Hey Mack" Vanessa said smiling letting me inside her house

Ugh every time I see her in pictures, in person, or even thinking of her I just want to tell her, what Brooklyn's going to do

"Hey Vani" I said fake smiling back

"What's wrong?" she asked, ahh Mack don't spill it out

"Um nothing" I lied

"Mack" she said with a serious face

"Ugh fine....its just I can't get over Luke" I acted

"Aw it's ok. we can watch mean girls, sixteen candles, and pretty n' pink" she said, "plus a tug of mint n' chip ice cream"

"That's great!" I said

"Should we start now?" she said wiggling her eye brows

"Let the movie marathon begin!" I said

"YAS!" Vanessa yelled

"Vanessa can you be a little quieter?" her mum yelled

"Yes mum" she responded as I giggled

"Thank you" her mum yelled back

"Ok which movie first?" Vanessa asked

"Um pretty n' pink, then mean girls, and sixteen candles" I said

"Perfect" she said putting the DVD in the DVD player

"What do you think of Brooklyn?" I asked her

"Well nice, handsome, funny, cheesy, cute, and adorable" she said and smiled

"You really like him?" I asked

"Yeah. I was actually thinking of saying I love you to him next week. Is it to early?" she asked

Ugh she loves him. Brooklyn I'm gonna hate you forever after this whole 'ignoring' thing

"Um I don't know" I said

"Ok let me get the ice cream so we can watch" she said exciting when Brooklyn called

"What" I said very annoyed with him

"What are a you doing?" he asked

"Milking a kangaroo" I said sarcastically, "I'm Vanessa's house you ding dong"

"Oh I knew that" he said, "well mum and dad got mad at me"

"Go figure" I said

"But then dads proud cause I'm taking care of my little sister" he said as I pictured him smiling

"Oh really? how about ignoring your girlfriend going to help your little sister?" I asked and hung up

I saw Vanessa and saw her eyes looked down as a tear fell out of her eyes, I ran to her and gave her a hug.

"Why would he ignored me?" She whimpered

"He got in fight with Luke and got all bruised and he didn't want you to look at him in a beaten up way" I said

"That's bloodly stupid! who fucking cares if I see him beaten up. I love the way he is. just cause he got beaten up doesn't mean I can't see him or at least take care of him" she said which true

"I know he's bloodly stupid I told him that it was a bad idea and yet he goes and says its his decision not mine, that you won't get hurt" I said

"You know what? I'm gonna walk up to your door and slap him" she said, "and maybe... no maybe that's to far"

"What's to far?"

"To break up with him"she said
