"James, you'll be late for school, hurry up!" said Kurt's stepmother

"Catherine, will you stop calling me with my second name, how many times do I have to remind that to you?" said Kurt as he comes down the stairs

"You don't want me to call you by your first name and now by your second name, what am I supposed to call you then?" his stepmother asked

"I dunno. It's not my problem." Kurt said shrugging

"Okay okay just hurry up or you'll be late for your classes and oh, by the way, did you and your girlfriend broke up already?"

"What?! Girlfriend?! Catherine, what are you saying?!"

"The girl who was always waiting for you in the morning outside, you two also go home together, but she's the one who sends you home not the other way around and you were with her about a week ago right? but hey, it's your life, I know times these days are way different, I haven't seen her though, anything okay with you two?"

Kurt then realized Catherine was talking about Jenny and realized he haven't seen her too for quite some time now  "Catherine, she is not my girlfriend."

"Really? I really thought she is, I mean you don't let other girls be so close to you like she is, I guess, times really sure have changed "

"Wait what?" Kurt asked but he then glanced at his watch "Oh no, he'll kill me, I gotta go Cath, bye!" he took a toast and drank half of his juice and dashed out from his house and went on his way

"Aww, you didn't even took a bite on your egg and bacon...." his stepmother said but then trailed off as she saw his stepson ran off to his school as she smiles and put her hands on her waist, shaking her head "Oh, Kurt. What am I going to do to you?"

On his way to his campus, eating the single toast he took for his breakfast, Kurt then really thought of Jenny. He really hasn't seen her for a while since their talk. It's not like he really cares, but it's just.....just weird. It feels weird not to feel annoyed. Not that the other girls don't annoy him, but it feels weird.... it feels weird not to see her around, always following him. And he misses..... he misses her home made lunch that she cooks herself every morning, at least that's what he remembers when she tells stories. Somehow, he wished he listened to them more so at least, he would have an idea why she haven't seen her. Now he's left wondering and does not like the way it feels. He can't feel this way. Not to anyone. Especially not to her.

"Look who's lonely boy today?" Kurt's best friend, Blake told him as he approached the campus

"Shut up, Blake"

"Where's your girlfriend?" said Blake grinning

"Seriously? You too?! You really thought she's my girlfriend? you're my best friend!"

"Hahahahaha! I know, I know. I'm just kidding. Now seriously, where is she?"

"I don't know. And I don't care" said Kurt as they sat down on their usual spot, on a bench at the campus, where they always hang-out as they wait for their classes to start.

"Talk about being Mr. I-don't-care" said Blake making a face

"Just shut up, Blake"

Kurt and James had been best friends since their Elementary days, but it was only in their Sophomore year in College that they got to be reunited, as Blake had just transferred from a Law School.

"Y'know, I never really  knew what's the story between the two of you. She was the one you're always with even before I came here"

"Blake" Kurt glared "I'm not with her, I told you she follows me around"
