Silence

26 6 1

First, it will be a a blissful thing
It will make your mind relax and you heart sing
Soon, however, your mind will start to talk
And bound by silence, away from those thoughts you cannot walk
Slowly, it will creep into your very core
You will not move anymore
As your mind continues to scream
A nightmare will be born from what used to be a dream
Doubt will find a place in your mind
Perhaps your friend is aiming a knife from behind?
At last the silence will concur all
It will rise so mighty and tall
All you believed in will seem a lie
After all, maybe it's better to die?
