Mourning moon

All around the world I dance
They see me, judge me, don't give me a chance
Can't they see how hard I try?
Why won't they love me, why, oh why?
My golden sister they praise and adore
I wish to be her, to be a little more
I'm always surrounded by darkness, though still I shine
But me they would never call divine
My sister does nothing, simply lays still
Yet they dance around her, obey her every will
I too do dance, fast and strong
Trying to prove, I belong
Still, when I come they turn their backs and close their eyes
Every time they do so, something in me dies
Worst of all, every single night
The stars will taunt me with their pretty light
Saying:
We are all the same
And we get to be part of the game
For we are just like the sun
But you are not, and therefore we will you shun
In such a wretched world, maybe, I should not want to belong
Perhaps it's on your own that you are strong

Hello Dreamers, missed me? Sorry, I've been kind of busy lately, considering its summer. Yeah, yeah, I know I should have written something anyway. Since it's summer, I should have the time, right? Well...
*says in posh, British accent*
I sincerely apologize for not being present during a most important time. I suffered severe lack off inspirational thoughts, and could therefore not attend this gathering.
There, I even checked if I spelled it wrong. Happy? If not, have an AWFUL whatever time zone you're in!😋
