Chapter 14: The Final Big One Bomb

*Eris POV*

The form of big one cracked and smashed away from Joker. His eyes wide open and a thin trail of mixed blood and oil trickling from the edge of his lips. "Is this?" He lifted his arm slowly and used his thumb to wipe the liquid from his face. "What it feels like?" His arm dropped with a heavy smack to the floor. "To physically hurt... to have my human and my robotic body struck simultaneously?" The scientist pulled the spike out and swung the baton at Jokers back. The loud ringing of metal echoed throughout the canyon as Jokers body flew through the air. Mer caught him and fell to her knees, Decade vanishing from her to reveal her broken face with tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Mer..." He held up his rose and the key of Big one. "We knew this would happen... give this to... the pirates." Colours seemed to leak off of the Big One key and began wrapping around the rose. I came up to them and the colours flew back into the key to reveal a thin missle where the rose once was. "Big...bomber." For the first time for as long as I have seen him, I saw his lips curve into a smile. "My final request, you said you would fulfill it Mer... I want the one who killed me to have my body."

I looked up from them to see the area around me had turned into a white wasteland, five sentai members stood around the two, JAKQ. The three other Jets came and stood beside me looking at our counterparts. The counterparts nodded before vanishing.

The world reappeared and I grabbed the bomb and key. "Okay... you saw it too right Jets? Lets finish this and capture the scientist."

They all spoke simultaneously as they lined up beside me. "Okay Eris!"

The Diamond one spun and was suddenly holding a large wheel, the clover one doing the exact same. I spun and was holding a large V.

"Set One"
"Set Two"
"Set three"

We slammed the pieces together to create the bottom of a canon. The Spade Jets spun and held up a canon barrel, leaping and locking it into place.

"Set On!"

We had a whole canon assembled as I gripped onto the Big One key. "Gokai Change!" I slammed the key into my glove and turned it,colours immediately began circling around me.

"Big One!" I held the baton high above my head and pushed the missile into the canon. "Eat this assholes!" I yelled out, channelling my cousin through me. "Big Bomber!"

"Big Bomber!" The three copies all yelled out and pointed at the large group of robots remaining. I pointed my baton at them and the missile was fired from the canon, transforming half way across the air into a pirate ship. It began to circle the robots, shooting them with tiny bullets from its side canons and destroying them in a timely fashion. The ship then crashed itself into the last of them and exploded.

I pulled my hand down in success and turned to look at Mer and Joker only to see that they weren't there. I quickly looked around and saw Mer carrying him towards the scientist. "Mer what are you doing?" I yelled out after her as she lay the body down in front of the scientist, who was down on his knees.

"We... we are done here pirates... we neutralised the threat and... I... I fulfilled Jokers final wish. I hope you enjoy the spoils bastard." she turned back to face me, her eyes red and puffy but no longer letting out tears.

"Mer..." one of the Copies moved towards her when suddenly the eyes of the lifeless Joker began glowing white and a robotic voice, similar to but not identical, came from his body.

"Delete Safety Protocol - J0001. Delete Energy Holding Protocol - J0001. Initiate Final Big One Bomb, Countdown = Message J473 Length. Display Message J473." Mer turned back to look at him but kept walking away slowly. "To my dear partner in fighting, Mer. I am honoured to have fought alongside you for so long. I may not show much emotion but when I am with you I feel safe. I would not call this love, but I would call it a strong like. You are a strong Rider and I know that you will continue to fight for your planet, even in my absence. I also know that my death will not be in vain as long as you have survived and are still willing to fight. Mer, warrior of Earth, I am glad to have once called you friend. Thank you for the years." Mer held her face as lightning began coursing around Joker. I was in shock, no idea how to take the situation, the world around me was tinted blue but... I could still control myself... a new feeling that in all my studies no Durokian has ever felt.

The scientist stood with a new and smaller gun and pointed it at the group of Jets as they powered themselves down. He fired it and a small drone flew towards them. "Cousin!" they all turned to me but did not take note of the drone, it quickly stung one of them with a needle before flying up into the sky.

"Ahh." The tux Jets gripped his shoulder where he had been stung.

Mer gave a military salute as the lightning began flowing faster. The scientist screamed loudly as the body of Joker erupted into a massive blue flame. I once again stood in shock. Mer turned again and walked back to me. "Eris. let's head back to your cousins ship. we have some explaining to do to your other cousin and we have to try and fix Jets." I could feel the despair pouring from her as she brushed past me. Earthlings... they seem to feel so much despair... and now I know why.
